Judging at the moment and I've got to say it never occurred to me as a contestant how hard it is to keep the previous songs you've listened to in mind when ranking. I can already tell you there are some songs that struck chord with me and others... not so much. Anyway, I fully intend to post in-depth analyses of what I thought of each song once the rankings are made public, as other judges have done in the past. I always thought it was an interesting read, plus it helps contestants understand what you're looking for, what they did right and what they did wrong.

I'll be doing analysis too, but I've never been good at long descriptions, so my reviews will be short and sweet (but maybe not as sweet for some of you.  ) I've got a ranking right now, I'll watch Big Brother, then re-listen to the songs and tweak the list if I need to. |
