I'll post and send the songs tomorrow, but for now, we shall get started on the third round!
Round 3: As Low as Low Can Be
For this round, send in a song that describes someone who feels life can not and will not get better. That is not to say the ending can not be happy, but it must come from a place of complete sadness in which there is hope
BONUS ROUND 1:
Now, as most everyone knows, there was a certain...controversy in a certain...convention lately. So, in honor of the Queen Fiasco, your job, for extra points to impress the judges, is just choose a song lyric (Minimum 1 Line, Maximum 4) that wuld go good for a Presidential Slogan

Does the lyric have to come from the song we send for Rd3? Good question No it does not. Could be from any song, master list or not, this DOES NOT impact the actual game. This is just a side minigame for extra points

This is just a side minigame for extra points You don't even have to do it if you don't want to/feel confident enough about your place in the game. This is all purely for the chance to better your position. If you don't want to do it, no harm done.

The song doesn't have to have a happy ending right?

Geesh, between this and the drug addiction round, those have been pretty dark so far. Hopefully the next ones are more uplifting.

Eh, the first Round was about opening stuff. That's pretty optimistic. Unless there's like a big monster behind it, like in Resident Evil, then it's a bit sad and scary.

Round 2 was not depressing
Round 2 was about being high in EITHER the literal sense or the on top of the world, nothing can knock me down high
Not my fault everyone went straight for the literal

Stay strong, man. Spider, what were your thoughts on the last round? Oh right, I guess I can still do that now: 1. Bone Symphony - One Foot In Front of The Other I like 80s music, especially songs that are upbeat pop that uses keyboard. Also this song is perfect for a 1980s fixing-stuff-up montage. Maybe #1 was too high, but I really liked this song. 2. Benjamin Clementine - Cornerstone I wasn't sure of this song at first, but then I really started to 'feel it' as the song went on. Very well written, the piano and vocals and everything meld together very well. 3. Dengue Fever - Tiger Phone Card I really like the guitar sound in this song, and the two singers go together very well. 4. Mastodon - Seabeast I also like 90s Alternative, which this song sounded like a lot. A little chaotic at times, but I can handle that too. 5. Alex and Sierra - Scarecrow Very enjoyable, happy song. The woman's voice is really good. 6. Was (Not Was) - Walk The Dinosaur One of those one hit wonders that you can't help but like, even if only a little. 7. Animal Collective - Brother Sport I've got a weird affinity for songs that some people might find annoying, and this song had a lot of random sounds in it, but I enjoyed it. Most of this song was a joy to my ears, maybe not the part between 1:30 and 3:00, where it sounded like maybe the screaming of a dinosaur from a SNES game. 8. Frozen - Love is an Open Door I never saw Frozen, so I don't have any personal stake in this song. It's a very happy song that's easy to enjoy. 9. Anderson .Paak - Heart Don't Stand a Chance The man certainly has talent, just that this was a tough round and I couldn't really rank this much higher. 10. Madonna - The Power of Goodbye This was one of the few songs that I had heard of before getting this list, and probably the one I was most familiar with. I liked it back then, still like it now, it's nice and calming and smooth, but it's not her strongest song, not even the best from the Ray Of Light album. (although I don't think the song 'Frozen' was even an option for this round) 11. Tame Impala - Sundown Syndrome Yeah I can say I like this song and it's retro sound, it would fit well somewhere on an Austin Powers soundtrack. 12. Gotye - Eyes Wide Open I didn't really like or hate it. There's nothing really 'wrong' with it, but it wasn't too spectacular or memorable. 13. Modest Mouse - The Ground Walks, With a Time Box I didn't really like or hate it. There's nothing really 'wrong' with it, but it wasn't too spectacular or memorable. 14. Skrillex ft. Penny - All I Ask Of You Yeah Skrillex was a risk. There's a lot of songs that use computerized/digital sounds, but they actually have to sound good. Animal Collective went for it and it worked, this one didn't really go for much of anything and it didn't work. 15. Iggy and The Stooges - Open Up and Bleed Didn't really do anything for me. This genre was never really much for me, and the song was just too quiet and nothing much of anything.
