I'm not the biggest fan of Telltale Games' releases, but this looks interesting.

Most of TellTale's work is superb, so I'm looking forward to this.

they could actually do a lot with Batman the world's greatest detective with their usual adventure game style.

they could actually do a lot with Batman the world's greatest detective with their usual adventure game style. That has always been an aspect of Batman that hasn't really been seen outside of comics. Movies and games only have a finite time, and it's usually spent on more exciting endeavors, understandably so. That's actually one of the only things BvS did correctly, was show the more detective side of Batman.

The dialog is painfully cliche but it looks super pretty .

Also finally watching the video I am assuming at least most of the first season will be the rise and fall of Harvey

they released a voice cast during E3...
Troy Baker is Batman

Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent
Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale

I thought that was Sully as Falcone.

A number of Batman: The Animated Series episodes did a good job with the detective stuff too, but until recently its been few and far in between.

Looks like the most generic Batman story possible. Pass.

Looks like the most generic Batman story possible. Pass. Eh, like I said earlier, it looks a lot like Year One, which wasn't swarming with crazy supervillians, and was mostly about the mob going to war with Batman. And it's pretty great. Plus, it's probably the first season of what will wind up being multiple Telltale Batman games, so let them ramp up to The Joker and Mr. Freeze and such.
