Just saying it now. I won't be shocked if people die during these games.

Bloody hell has it been 4 years already since they were over here? Good times, genuinely great atmosphere in London

Raw sewage, Zika virus, kidnappings, corruption , apparently a wanted terrorist is "missing" and believed to be in Brazil... what a nightmare I feel for the athletes going because they've worked their lives to get there, bit my god. ,

Sweden vs. South Africa is underway. And there's barely anyone in the stadium.

Same with Canada vs Australia in women's football (soccer).
So many empty seats. Like a curtain raiser match.

Watching USA vs New Zealand Women's Football on Australia's Channel 7 Olympic App. Those in Australia that want to watch the games should get this app, since it's probably the best way to see the games that Australia don't take seriously (Like wrestling).
Anyway USA leading NZ 2 goals to nil 15 minutes into 2nd half. Playing at a large stadium and the upper tier is completely empty. Didn't even do the old tarp off thing.

that's the overall problem with women's soccer ..... not enough paying customers!
only because there's football stadia already, FIFA decided just to stick them on a full size pitch, except they should have played it on a hockey sized pitch like the paralympics do!
smaller teams, slammer stadia, smaller pitch = BETTER GAME!
in other newz stupid BBC can't schedule stupid games right because stupid ..... games advertised on a particular channel ends up on another one while other channel's game is on the ORIGINAL channel!!!
i even emailed them to say that!

Well, I will give Rio this, following all the horror stories has been the one time I've ever been interested in the Olympics.

270 Russians cleared to compete in Rio. It's farcical. Systematic doping on a national scale should have been met with systematic punishment for the national team. The entire Russian team should have been banned to send a message to international sports. The IOC are hideously corrupt.

nowt new about that HG, just made a complete mess of things, if any other sports fed had government interference they'd be outright banned ..... they simply do not know what to do!
and they should use smaller football stadia for the group games, something else organisers haven't learned
