I'll reserve judgment for Project Sonic till I see actual gameplay, but damn I've been waiting for a game like Sonic Mania for 22 years.

couldn't catch the full stream because of timezones. but did the event have more of sega kissing egoraptors *ss? cause in the last event they held, it bothered me that they shoehorned him in and gave him a good licking.
when it comes to the trailers, yeah! Sonic Mania and project sonic 2017 have me excited, but i'm careful to not get too hyped. I want these games to be good, but i also wanted Sonic boom to be good. and we all know how that turned out.

real talk, the guy that made the Archie Comics Sonic Character 3d model. f***ing amazing,if you got all of then there, just share all Yeah, Rafa Knight is hella good. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Rafa is incredible, and very talented for her age. I've worked with all of the Sonic freelancers over the last 5+ years, and no one can do what she does so easily. Also happy I can finally talk about Mania on this forum. I've been wanting to make wrestling jokes/comments on here and Twitter for weeks. Those that went to the event also received a free, exclusive cover to Sonic: Mega Drive, so expect those on eBay shortly.

I never read the comics, or got into the cartoon... But I just want more 2D Sonic. The last game I truly enjoyed was Sonic CD... I kinda got into Generations and Sonic 4, but it didn't feel right. Ive loved Sonic and preferred him over Mario and SNES as a kid... Hope to see Mania turn out well. Not sure about the fandom complaining, I think I've seen more people complain about the fandom here than the actual bad members of the fandom on this forum. This place is cool like that.

Jim Sterling posted a 10 minute video highlighting all the technical issues of this announcement the description is...
and yeah... the actual games showed off look promising but Sega really needs to fire whatever production company they had running it.

I'm personally willing to give Sonic Team a chance and the benefit of the doubt. They were on a roll with Sonic Colors and Sonic Generation but then had a so-so(yes, so-so as in not godawful) game with Sonic Lost World. Sonic Boom was terrible but it was made by a different developer so I can let that slide(to an extent).

Sonic mania actually looks really good. I love the drop dash seems a great way to keep the momentum going.
Not sure about that other game though I could never really get into sonic generations. Didn't like the confusing, boring flow break hub world and not a big fan of the boost mechanic. I do kinda want sonic adventure 3 as I miss the janky ass 3d sonic gameplay and chao garden. Didn't like any none sonic style parts from the adventure series though.

Look like the unused Dust Hill Zone from Sonic 2. Kind of suck that this still isn't coming to the Nintendo Switch but the other Sonic game is.

Holy shit, it looks just like Dust Hill Zone (from what very little we've ever seen)! That Christian Whitehead fella saved Sonic.

Despite the avatar I'm not really sure if I'll get Mania or not. Certainly has my attention but it kind of comes down to how much new content is in it and how much it costs.

I'm pleased by what they're showing here, both because I think it looks nice, and because I appreciate them throwing in little cameo shots of obscure characters. I was worried Sega was going to do that "NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER 3!!" cowardice mode that a lot of revivals do.
Hopefully, Freedom Planet showed them that you can do a classic Sonic with modern trappings and not get something as sterile as Sonic 4 was.

Maybe a little bit too reliant on the Sonic/Tails team stuff, but I liked it.
