Carlito and Santino Marella Which makes the chemistry he had with Kozlov AND Beth more remarkable.

I liked their team! Too bad they only lasted a month or so. They were the last team to be eliminated by Kane & Mankind in that tag team battle royal on RAW in May or June 98, shortly before Kane/Mankind beat the Outlaws for the titles Why repackage Flash Funk and team him up with Terry though? #Russo They were build as asskickin' ECW alumni (hardcore legends?), that was pretty much it...and Flash Funk became Scorpio. They just didn't know what to do with Terry (after the split from Foley) or Scorpio (who did nothing for a good year or so)

You'd think at least they'd have some stupid jokes about them both being Funks.

Honestly, Epico and Primo. Any version. I mean they're okay but Primo has shown more chemistry with every other person he has worked with than his cousin. It's definitely a prime example that 'family members' isn't enough of a hook for a tag team. Honestly I think it's mostly because even though he's been around for years, we've never gotten ANY indication as to who the hell Epico is. The guy was just plopped out there with zero introduction, given the same moveset as Primo, and then given absolutely nothing at all in terms of the slightest bit of individual spotlight. He's the single most anonymous person on the roster.

A D'lo Brown/Perry Saturn team was a thing in 2000 for some reason.

I remember for years there were rumors that Godfather and Val Venis would team up. I think it happened once.

I think he's only had a few singles matches since his debut in 2011 which is ridiculous. I would say it's like 80% booking and 20% on them though because they could still could have more of a dynamic together. From what we see on screen, they've just been two Puerto Rican guys who wore masks for a while. There's no real indication, besides reminders from commentary, that they're family or that they even hang out.

RVD and Rey, apart from being champs on SD for however long it was I can't remember them doing anything else of note.

NXT's Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger.
I thought both guys were going to be quietly released when they broke up this heartless jobber team, but somehow they both found their groove shortly after they split.

For as much as people loved their backstage stuff, Heidenreich and Snitsky basically wrestled themselves out of a WrestleMania payday by having no in-ring chemistry as a team. Did they even team up in a match together? I'm sure they were both on different shows at the time.

All they did on TV as a team was be weird with each other backstage and trip over each other on a double team vertical suplex at the Rumble. They did work a couple of house show tags in early February to nominally "finish" the feuds with Undertaker and Kane.
