My brother has about a hundred but my collection is much smaller. Mine began when my best friend bought me the Joker from the Dark Knight. After she got me that, I added to it, picking up Jon Snow, CM Punk, the Flash, Opie from SOA, Harry Potter and Jesse Pinkman. Here was the collection before I picked up Flash and Opie.

Yeah, but I don't think people are collecting Funko Pops hoping they're going to be worth a lot of money. People are collecting them because they like them. People aren't sinking $70,000 into them hoping to turn it into $7 million.

I have 20+ Pocket Pops and a regular Pop Deadpool bobblehead on my desk at work, because they make me smile. I don't intend to resell them, and don't keep the boxes. I have several other Pops that I'll rotate in and out because I don't have room for them all at once.

I have no inteniton of selling any of mine the only reason their in boxes right now is because we're about to move again. Like anything collectible some of them are worth lots mostly Con exclusive ones
I think part of why they have a following, is that they have mass appeal. They range from sesame street, to deadpool. I can see where some people aren't fans of them, but, I think they are fun to collect. (I don't have as many as a lot of the posters in the thread, but I do like them )
Plus, they're relatively inexpensive, as the basic single-pakced POPs are usually priced under $20.
Outside of the special big figures (Wampa, Giant-Man, etc), they also take up very little room. It's easy to just pop one in a random spot on a shelf. Then you start thinking about just how many shelves you have, and you're off!

Patti Mayonnaise I'm sorry.....I love you. *boot to the head*--3rd most culpable in the jixing of NXT, D'oh!
They should be right up my street, and the choice is incredible. My nearest Forbidden Planet has a whole aisle dedicated to them now and it's crazy.
But I just think they're kinda meh. Some of the ripoff lines are a bit better.
Only one? The London one has a whole section just for them, then also all the various series have more in their own section, the Game of Thrones ones, Dr Who ones etc.
