Aside from that last sketch, this episode was another homerun! Hard to say which was better, this ep or last. I kinda want to give the edge to last week, if only because Alec is a known quantity where Kristen Stewart was a welcome surprise.
Anyway, next time Octavia Spencer hosts, and possibly also sings...?

I'm still stunned at how good Kristen Stewart did last weekend. I thought she was going to be awful due to her awkwardness I've witnessed on talk shows, but she proved me wrong. Alec did great as always tonight and it was fun seeing Tracy again. Three solid shows in a row after that painfully cringeworthy Felicity Jones episode. |

I wonder who was under the hood tonight. No Higher Power "It Was Me, Austin!" haha I also love that other celebrities want to get in on the fun. Rosie O'Donnell wants to play Bannon and Christine Baranski wants to play Betsy DeVos. SNL is getting huge ratings as is. |

I didn't see the show live, but did see YoUTube clips. The Leslie Jones as Trump thing was just for the YouTube channel, right? That one was pretty good...and shows you don't have to be all "Dem'crat! F*** yeah!" to do a funny take on a political figure.
