Yeah, I think the SNL folks got the wrong idea from how popular the first Lisa from Temecula skit got. It wasn't because the character was particularly funny or memorable, but because of Pedro Pascal's corpsing. That and even if Lisa was really funny the first time, it's not a character that really works as a recurring one. |
