Great episode! The Family Feud was the best political sketch this far. The Celine Dion UFC video was a great sketch that might get forgotten in the long run do to musical copyright. Loved the twist in the crossword killer pretape, and that's the first pretape I remember seeing with that "Saturday Night Live Midnight Matinee" card.
Some definite odd stuff at the end of the show that I'm new curious if any stories come out from the audience or anything. In the middle of the commercial was an extended picture of Stevie Nicks before the second performance, and then it went back to commercial before she performed. They went straight from the Maybelline sketch to Twilight Zone sketch, and Ariana is the first person to walk out. SNL is good, but I can't imagine they costume changed her THAT fast. I wonder if there was a timing issue and the Maybelline sketch was a talked version from dress rehearsal.

Apparently, according to people there live on reddit, the hotel detective sketch was pretaped from dress. Sounds like there must've been a technical difficulty of some kind before the second musical performance that delayed things and they tossed that in cause it worked with timing.

Since this is a big celebratory season, I wanna see them find a way to bring Donald Pleasence back to life so he and Fear can be there for the Halloween weekend episode. I wanna see how crazy that shit can be 40 years later.

Just saw that Crow from the last season of MST3K Kelsey Ann Brady was one of the Puppeteers in the "My Best Friends House" sketch. I think her and Joel are the only MST3K people to have been on the show.

What is wrong with this show, the Yankees win the AL peanut and no mention of that on Weekend Update. It is a New York show, so some support for your host city. The old SNL would do that.
