I just Googled SNL, because there had to be tons of talk about what was probably the strongest show of the season. I found one article about how amazingly bad Louis CK's accent was, and most everything else was about Trump and Kendall Jenner (which I still have no idea what that's about). They were by far the weakest parts of an amazing show. Look up the Pepsi commercial controversy. Biggest advertising gaffe in the states here this side of the millenium. Huge controversy, and the sketch wonderfully mercilessly skewered it. I liked the whole episode too, but trust me, this was SNL at its most biting and masterful. I looked it up, and it's good topical humor. Nothing more, really. The rest of the show was great. Not just Louis CK, who killed it, but really good writing as well. A lot of great premises, like the lawyer with fantastic eyelashes and the clown birthday party. Capturing pop culture and skewering it is a pillar of the show, but the writing for their Trump and Jenner stuff is lightyears behind pretty much the rest of the show. Even the O'Reilly stuff wasn't very good.

Yeah the O'Reilly sketch was good for Balxwin's impression, which was scarily good with the facial impressions especially, but the punch lines were kind of weak.

Baldwin's impressions are always ridiculously gold. I didn't think he could pull off O'Reilly for some strange reason, but it was really damn close. But the Trump sketches seem mad boring at this point. It seems like they're just going to keep doing it regardless of whether or not the material is there.

I don't know that he quite had the voice, but he had the speech patterns and physical mannerisms down perfectly. I definitely think if they had to do only one Trump this week they should've just had him in the O'Reilly skit and had something else for the opener.

Count me in with the people impressed with Baldwin's Bill O'Reilly impression. Holy shit that was good.

There won't be any XFL week 2 Type debacle like the one that happened in 2001, if the Predators vs Blackhawks goes beyond 11:00 PM, the Preds vs Hawks match will continue on CNBC.

How does this time travel thing work, and other science facts?
Just repeat to yourself "It's just a show, I should really just relax!"
