I don't get why people don't like WU. That was great. The joke about Colin and the Rhino keeping the baby both killed me. Update is frequently one of my fave sketches of the night. For some reason a lot of folks think it's been terrible since Seth Meyers left. But I've rarely found Seth funny. *shrug* |

It's always great when Louis CK hosts. Not as good as the Chappelle ep, but it was a pretty close second favorite of the season.

I just Googled SNL, because there had to be tons of talk about what was probably the strongest show of the season. I found one article about how amazingly bad Louis CK's accent was, and most everything else was about Trump and Kendall Jenner (which I still have no idea what that's about). They were by far the weakest parts of an amazing show.

They were by far the weakest parts of an amazing show. Look up the Pepsi commercial controversy. Biggest advertising gaffe in the states here this side of the millenium. Huge controversy, and the sketch wonderfully mercilessly skewered it. I liked the whole episode too, but trust me, this was SNL at its most biting and masterful. |
