Can't wait for Joe v Nakamura. I hope Gargano and Ciampa win or at least don't turn on each other. I think a Gargano/Ciampa feud is big enough that it should be saved for the title once Joe and Nakamura get called up.

On paper, these next two days look like the best two days of WWE in a very long time. I think Summerslam is going to upstage this year's Wrestlemania in a major way.
My predictions:
-Bobby Roode d. Almas. Who loses their debut match? -Ember Moon d. Billie Kay. See above. -Austin Aries d. No Way Jose. Out of the first three matches I've listed, this one could go either way, but I think Aries will win to make up for losing to Nakamura. -Revival d. Ciampa and Gargano. I'd like to see the faces win the titles, but I'm leaning toward the Ciampa heel turn theory now. -Asuka d. Bayley. I'd love to see Bayley become a two time champion, even if she loses the title weeks later so she can get called up to the main roster. However, that's not how they do things in NXT so I figure she's losing. -Nakamura d. Joe. There's no reason not to keep Nakamura's winning streak going.

I'm rooting for Joe to retain against Nakamura. There really isn't much of a story in this feud if they fight and Nakamura just beats him right off the bat. I will say however that if the plan is for Joe to get called up and be plopped on to Smackdown in the next month then by all means have Nakamura take him down.
Roode, Moon, Aries, Revival, and Asuka are my other predictions.

Only way I can honestly see Nakamura winning tonight is by disqualification

I know what you're saying but NXT rarely does DQs in any match and I'd bet almost anything that the main event of a Takeover won't end in one. Especially in Brooklyn.

I may be in the minority, but I think Almas needs to beat Roode. Roode's got the theme, will have the crowd support at Takeover, and the mic skills to recover. Plus Roode's character comes off as the delusional type. He can easily spin the loss into gold and make it seem like he came out as the winner.

Odds that Almas skullf***s Roode for the win are very narrow.
Maybe Roode cheats to win.

For anyone interested, I'm doing my NXT TakeOver Brooklyn II: The Remix live alternate commentary audio stream, and you can be live on the air with me just by calling us in the studio. I hope Joe/Nakamura lives up to the hype, but I wonder if Hideo Itami will show himself during the match?

What time is the show?
Also, think match I'm most unsure on a winner on is Jose / Aries. Seems like Jose could benefit big from the win but Aries isn't exactly the most credible guy around right now and could use a win. Maybe do the looking good in defeat thing with Jose, I dunno.

With an evening of BBC Olympics coverage to tide us over until 12.30, when the pre-show starts. Full of win. (edited because I apparently can't spell "Oylylmpinics" this evening)
