Slightly on topic but I've always wondered why The Radicalz were allowed to appear on WWF TV two weeks after they were released by WCW. Did they not have a non-compete clause? (because two weeks isn't really much of a time period to insert as a clause) Or was it a case of their releases were different than the norm, in that they could appear where they wanted when they wanted? I know Benoit went to Japan during those two weeks but did he actually compete there or was it just a holiday? The story I've heard is that the Radicals wanted to leave if Mike Graham and Kevin Sullivan, among others, weren't removed from the booking team. Graham approached Benoit about it and threatened harm on Benoit if he got fired because of him (I've even heard Graham pulled a knife on Benoit). This threat gave The Radicals enough leverage to negotiate unconditional releases from WCW. Sid broke it up with a squeegee
