You could see exactly when Balor hurt his arm. Outside the ring, Seth bombed Balor into the barricade. Balor caught it with his right arm and immediately you can tell he hurt it. This sucks. They decide to build up a fresh face and strap the rocket to him and he gets hurt. Wasn't Seth's fault. Totally freak deal. I magically prevented all accidents, and my touch healed all injuries that did happen. 3/10.

Anyone think the reason Rusev vs Reigns did'nt happen is because Vince called an audible when word got back to him Finn was hurt and he needed Roman back in the top challenger position just in case?

Nah, I'm sure what happened is exactly what the plan was, otherwise there was no reason to have the match on Raw.

I hope Balor's okay and this is nothing too serious. Honestly, I do.
That said, if he's going to be out for a few months, he should keep the title with him at home. It'd be insane for the Universal Title, to have its first reign go down in the books as lasting a very short time. It could shake the legitimacy and prestige such a title commands.

I think it'd be a lot more harmful to the belt to go, "Raw demands a champion! Okay, now that we have one, he's gonna go take the belt and sit on his ass at home for a few months." I say if it's serious just vacate it and when he's good to come back do the rightful champ angle.

I don't think it really affects the legitimacy and prestige of the belt if the guy has to vacate the belt on the first reign because of injury sustained during the match he won it in. That's unforeseen mitigating circumstance, not bad booking. Nobody should judge them harshly for that. At least Balor actually won a match for it. The WWE World Championship's first reign is not much to shout about, having started by simply being awarded to Buddy Rogers as part of the formation of the WWWF as its own promotion after splitting from the NWA. And he only had it three weeks, in an age where people would normally have the belt for literally years at a time.

If I had to lug around the Pepperoni belt, I'd be injured too.

Totally not Seth's fault. I mean it's just the third time in less than a year that someone got injured after he did a move on them, but it's totally not his fault.

Even Sting's said himself he just didn't brace himself properly on the landing and that it was an issue already in the making, and this one seems to have happened just from Finn landing badly. The Cena one, sure, that was careless, though also really something that could've easily happened to anyone.

The Club destroys Finn for not doing the hand gesture and for not being "One Of Us"
