I seem to remember he mentioned going to WWF events during one of his videos.
I just don't think the wrestling games have enough to justify an episode due to the fact they are fairly limited in what you can do in them. The only one that could lend itself to a review is WWF Betrayal for the Gameboy where you have to rescue Stephanie.

I was always surprised he never did one too. I would love to see him do that awful first WrestleMania game for NES. I guess maybe he's just not never been a fan of wrestling and doesn't have much knowledge about it so he just avoids it. For what it's worth, I remember seeing him on Rvdtito4life subscriber list yrs ago.

I know it's not a WWE game, but that Impact video game would be perfect especially if he got into that story mode.

Royal Rumble for Dreamcast would fit him...lol. I feel like you really can't pick on the older ones from the NES era too much.Yes, some of them were not good to say the least but considering the time they came out and system limitations of older machines they kinda get a pass. Royal Rumble is recent enough in that the developers should have known better by the year 2000. Royal Rumble was a port of an arcade game, and that's why it was so basic compared to other WWF games released around the same time like Smackdown or No Mercy. WCW Backstage Assault was far worse. WWE Crush Hour would probably be the most AVGN-worthy WWE game. Though it's not exactly a "wrestling game".

WrestleMania 19 for GameCube is a great game, but has anyone played the storymode... Been awhile but wasn't the main point to ruin Mania or something like that?

Could have gone with some of the board games that wrestling companies put out for his Board James series if he's still doing that. I remember Spoony covering a fair few of the VHS sorts.

I don't think a casual or non-fan would really understand the flaws of WWE 12. I think casuals and non-fans would understand if he said for example: "Imagine you bought the new Call of Duty or the new Madden game. You paid 60 bucks for it, you paid another 25-30 bucks for the season pass, and the online hardly worked for the duration between this game being released and the next one being released." I think people would get the picture. Yeah but is there comedy in those complaints? Major glitches almost every match where shit is wacky sure. Online didn't work and it doesn't play like an upgrade not much

I would say this on the old official suggestion thread on the ScrewAttack forums when Mike and James still checked it and I'll say it again here. WWF Betrayal is not a bad game.

It sitll doesn't really excuse a game built around a 30 person match type not having at least 30 characters in it.... from what I remember it didn't even have 20.

I'm almost certain that both James and Mike have mentioned they don't watch wrestling.

Speaking of video game comedy legends, Mega64 have a funny backyard wrestling bit they do from time to time. The king with a K!

The one thing I'm surprised about is the fact that many of the early games were made by LJN themselves, but he has made no mention about that. Certainly, he'd have something to discuss about them. Ironically enough, JAmes Rolfe has gone on record to say that he enjoyed the LJN wrestling games. Something tells me he never played King of the Ring or Steel Cage Challenge.

I'd say that is perhaps the worst wrestling game ever.

The most obvious choice would be the first Wrestlemania for the NES. Playing that game made ME go on an AVGN-like rant.

Am I the only one who read this as 'Which WWE games should AVON do'? I'm trying hard not to picture housewives selling cosmetics while bringing the pain, occasionally stopping by to demonstrate make up products, painting up little old women to look like Golddust or the Ultimate Warrior.
