Looking forward to seeing the Jags/Packers game in particular this weekend. I've been hearing everybody picking Jacksonville to either win the South or push for a wildcard. so it will be interesting to see if they live up to the higher expectations. They certainly performed a lot better last year than their 5-11 record suggests, losing a lot of close games. Not looking forward to seeing the Dolphins get squashed in Seattle though

If Shaun Hill blows this, I'm lighting his house on fire and warming my hands over the smoldering wreckage to help me survive the inevitable cold.
...okay, I'll just be disappointed, but it'll be INTENSE DISAPPOINTMENT~!

We're starting a rookie QB and a rookie running back against one of our division rivals. This is either gonna go really well, or really really bad, and I'm scared to find out which one it's gonna be.

Hey, at least you have to look to the future. The former #1 pick and Heisman Trophy winner, Sam Bradford. That should fill you with pride, right? Bears mentioning: my team's (49ers) QB situation is arguably worse than yours (I can't trust Yo Gabba Gabbert. Ever.). But I would rather NOT ever have Sam Bradford starting anything. Not even a car. Does he have dirt on Goodell? How is he still working?

This is the first time in my NFL fandom that I'll be watching as a neutral fan. (I was a fan of the Rams until they left earlier this year.) So, I'm just hoping for some good football.

The NFC East is a dumpster fire. I have a feeling the Dallas-NYG game will be a shootout. It'll be interesting to see who is the least shitty team that gets to win the division and back into the playoffs. If its the Giants, this gives me a feeling like the last 2 Super Bowl seasons. Scrape by and win the important games.

I am shocked that the Dallas game isn't in prime time, but I bet it's a national game.
I'm interested in the Bucs/Falcons. Two teams that could really go either way.

The Pats should feature Martellus Bennett extensively with Gronk being out. That said, the Cardinals ought to beat the hell out of the Patriots on Sunday night

My hopes for this week:
- The Bengals establish our dominance with a win over those jabroni marks Jets - Dak Prescott impresses and shows that, win or lose, Dallas is gonna be alright with him at the helm this season - The Raiders show they are a force to reckon with after a convincing win over the Saints - The Redskins murk The Steelers because f*** Pittsburgh, brah

If The Eagles and Wentz can't beat the Browns then it'll be crushing, but with the way the Preseason looked, I'm hoping for good things. Just need someone in the WR Core to step up, use the tight ends more than last year, hope the Run Game can come alive again and hope the Line can hold together. As everyone else already said the NFC East is a toss up, but I think the Eagles can hang, but time will tell.

Tomorrow the Return of Redzone. Couldn't imagine watching the NFL Reg Season without it Every Sunday I have a live game on the tv and have Redzone playing on my laptop. I couldn't watch Redzone by itself, but as an accompaniment to a full game, it's perfect. The production team do such a great job on that show.
