And then Godzilla (or as he's known over there, Gojira) shows up. Flower Girl: "Well......f***." Then she calls in Fluttershy for help on that. Godzilla then ends up how he was in the 70s. Including being able to do this again: That's definitely a textbook version of a "Missile Dropkick". |

Considering the most recent episodes with Goku Black, I would say this is also true. The writing for Super has been good but the new forms bother me. GT's writing bothered me but SSJ4 was awesome. I've been a DB fan since 1993 or so, might be a "Get off my lawn" fan by now  |

I actually like the look of it. Plus, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman is AWESOME. |

Since we are talking about Dragonball, I have to say when it comes to that, I am like Quibble Pants.
In what way? Let's just say:
First three books of Daring Do = Dragonball, i.e. the first series of 153 episodes, 3 movies and the manga until the end of the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament.
Rest of the Daring Do books = Dragonball Z and everything thereafter

I started watching DBZ stuff through the OVA's, mostly from around the Androids and Cell storylines. I still really haven't seen much of the original Dragonball.
GT, from a canon perspective, may as well just be the longest OVA of the entire show.
Super appears to be the "Apology", and I like most of what I'm seeing so far.
I've just been watching it so long I have my own headcanon about a few things.... hey, that sounds familiar....
