We haven't had the famous incarnation of Eddie Guerrero in a game since 2011, so this could be cool. I bet Goldberg and Eddie are remnants of a scrapped Lesnar showcase.

Again my problem is more how the Twitter was hyping it as amazing! When it's just Eddie again. I love Eddie but it's not like he has never been in a game or not been in a game in 10 years. |

In non DLC news (sort of), I have a plan for one of the first things I'll do in 2K17:
The NXT Championship Classic.
Since we've had 9 NXT Champions thus far (and I don't THINK Shinsuke will lose it before the game comes out), there'll be an 8 man tournament, winner faces Shinsuke for the title.
Thanks to Random.org, the brackets I have were, to start:
-Kevin Owens vs. Bo Dallas
-Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins
-Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe
-Neville vs. Big E
Could be fun to see. Maybe Bo will be a surprise Primo in this tournament.

If for some ungodly reason they elect NOT to feature the Freebirds as DLC, I'm hoping they'll at least include Texas Stadium as an arena so I can recreate Kerry beating Flair for the NWA title.

Speaking of, while most here probably prefer "The Big Gold Belt" for the NWA title, I wonder if WWE and 2K would ever try to get the rights to use the "10 Pounds Of Gold" to have in the game. Would be less obscure than the times they had the AWA title in the game. |

I'm loving the DLC I'm predicting a Hall of Fame Showcase DLC even though its confirmed there is no Showcase on disk but they didn't say anything about DLC and with Kerry Von Erich in the game I think its possible we could see a showcase featuring The Von Erichs VS The Freebirds. Its wishful thinking but Kerry will be a waste if they don't include the Freebirds and maybe one or two of his brothers like Kevin & David and maybe even Fritz with a World Class Arena.

With both Papa Shango and The Godfather in there, it really comes off like they're doing another Hall of Fame DLC pack. So I wouldn't be surprised if they did include the Freebirds, the Sportatorium, and at least two more Von Erich brothers.

I'm excited to see Papa Shango and Kerry Von Erich in the game. Attitude-era legends have been done to death the past few years, I hope we get some more guys from the late '80s / early '90s.
