I love how the negativity from a moribund Raw 24 hours prior is sure to be washed away by the superiority of SDLive. This is probably the best thing about SmackDown moving to Tuesday... We're not stewing about RAW until Thursdays and being down all week. Now we have the hit-and-miss appetiser, followed by a good main course and NXT for dessert if you're still hungry over the three days.

The first show after a ppv, in my opinion, shouldn't be heavy on matches. My thinking it's you have to start building to the next one, which this did. I give it a solid 8. Nothing bad at all, good foundation to the next ppv. Smackdown has characters with distinct personalities.

It wasn't a perfect Tye Dillinger (redundant, I know) but aaaaaalmost. The most important thing, though, is that it cleanly beat RAW across the board.
And somehow The Miz's response to Ziggler's challenge was brilliant. Totally ignore Dolph, and then just insert himself into the main event with Cena/Ambrose/AJ. It somehow elevated the IC title more than having a rematch with Ziggy would've. Kudos to Bryan, the Authority, for getting involved in the midcard for once.

I give it an 8. Solid show overall, the opening segment was really good but the only problem is Cena acting entitled to a title shot because of the Flair record, I'm just like my dude you've got no claim to title story-wise right now especially ahead of the champion that lost dirty to the guy that beat you clean last time you were on the screen. The Miz angle is intriguing, Slater and Rhyno stuff was solid, Alexa as the challenger to Becky feels right to me, and the Ellsworth sighting legit cracked me up. Wyatt and Orton doesn't even feel like it's taking place on the same show, the only real miss for me. I also include Talking Smack which was entertaining as usual with that great Renee and Bryan pairing that just works on every level, it just feels like two friends shooting the shit while getting their guests to actually show some personality. So to sum it all up, Smackdown and Talking Smack: Raw: (because I'm not f***ing with Raw)

Deduct two points for the two Miz segments I had to ignore, and one for Cena being granted a title shot after doing absolutely nothing to earn it, but otherwise it was good stuff.

9 out of 10.
Mainly because Cena is back and that eventually means no more title for Styles...lol. I'm not expecting him to win the 3 way but I fully expect him to be the one to take the belt. I'm not a Cena fan but I'd take him any day over Styles. I've hated him since the first time I seen him in TNA.
Now that I said that...lol...everything else was better than Raw. They need to go back to a 2 hr format. Maybe that would help some because Raw needs fixed from the suck it has become.

A solid 9 out of 10.
No issues with any of the characters ' motivations in this- Styles is the champ so he don't care, and if I were Dean I'd be bothered by the rematch for the title I was cheated out of all of a sudden turning into a triple threat as well.
But I have to side with what @notoriousnd22 said, Cena's a highly regarded legend. He should be able to demand any title shot he wants with his stature. That's just how it is.
