It's been a very long time since I followed X-Men in the comics (is Jubilee still a vampire?), but looking at this picture there were at least four people who I thought were Wolverine. Yes, Beast made something that helps her stay in the sun... also she has a baby that she adopted. and there are 2 wolverines in that picture. Old Man Logan, and X-23 who took over the Wolverine name when regular Logan died. Sabertooth is also in the picture I'm assuming that's one of the people you thought was also Wolverine. I'm assuming Old Man Logan is the Wolverine with the grey hair all the way to the left and X-23 is the Wolverine with the boobs. I'm also assuming Sabretooth is the Wolverine on the upper right below who I presume is Angel. My final Wolverine was whoever that is crouching down on the lower right next to Jubilee.

Tom Brevoort and Rich Johnson square off with someone on Twitter concerned about the findings of Field www.bleedingcool.com/2016/12/10/fanboy-rampage-tom-brevoort-vs-beeding-cool-reader-vs-rich-johnston-marvel-sales/Amazing Spider-Man Newspaper StripLeave it to the newspaper strip to keep delivering the sort of MJ we want to see whenever RYV takes it's time to come out (issue two is out this week though, wooo). MJ decides she's had enough of waiting to see if Peter has taken care of the 'robbery' and is fully prepared to enter the building to help out when Peter is thrown out of the window...she rushes over to her man as Ronan replenishes and departs Let's just hope Ronan does'nt kidnap her or something, she does'nt need another guest-villain wanting her hand in marriage...

reboot's are never the answer. reboots aren't the answer but X-men needs a back-to-basics approach like nobody's business. the last 10 years have increasingly been about silly premises like moat of the mutants losing their powers for ill defined reasons or having 2-3 versions of every character and the X-men hating each other. and now the 3 most recognizable members of the team are all dead. what is the book even ABOUT anymore? I can't name another book that had such a cut and dry identity that was largely completely thrown out in favor of writers having ugly temper tantrums about each other's work like X-men has. It started with the ridiculous Xorneto retcons and just got worse from there. my friends who arent big comic geeks always ask me where to start with modern X-men books and I always have to shrug and say "don't bother because it's stuff that's more confusing than good". new characers show up and get hyped by one creator only to be completely ignored by the next writer, making the whole thing an excercise in futitily. long-running characters end up getting altered beyond recognition in personality, powers or both (oftentimes more than once in a year) to the point that anybody who knows the characters either from cartoons or the movies won't even recognize them. and if they DO they just come off as poorly handled or cloyingly smug (people talk about Cyclops' character derailment but not enough people talk about what an awful little shrew Wolverine was turned into at the same time, leading to books where NEITHER leader came off as appealing, or likeable). the X-men NEED a reshuffling.

Your top ten for the week.
1. Batman #12 2. Justice League #10 3. Superman #12 4. Walking Dead #161 5. Clone Conspiracy #3 6. Star Wars: Dr Aphra #1 7. Unworthy Thor #2 8. Nightwing #10 9. Harley Quinn #9 10. Green Lanterns #12
...And apparently I can't view comicvine at the moment because my network was blocked in part due to "malicious software" being detected. Don't know if that's a problem for anyone else.

I think related to the idea of how good or bad 2017 will be for the American comics industry, given the ways in which both DC and Marvel are all too willing to hot-shot the long term viability of their businesses for short-term profits, is the question about what purpose the local comic book shop serves--is it just a place people go to get their books or is it a place where people go to engage in the community aspect of comic book reading and collecting? www.comicsbeat.com/tilting-at-windmills-256-the-death-of-retail/

When I first saw this, I wasn't sure but reading the concepts, they all sound great. Space Ghost/Green Lantern had me from the title and if done right, Bananna Splits/Suicide Squad could be the funnest annual of the year. And man, 2017 getting a Ruff and Reddy story being done by professional comic book people is all kinds of surreal.

Here's the cover for All-New Wolverine #19, which isn't a new #1, but features a big, old #1 in one of the top corners (... for the story arc). ![](http://static4.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_medium/1444/14446008/3168493-1allnewwolverine_teaser+%281%29.jpg)

Maybe Marvel and DC got a look at Skottie Young's cover for I Hate Image, realized they couldn't top it and just went the vague mystery route as a cop-out.
