Cyborg was pretty good {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Ki//gore's back, and Victor listened to some jazz I may get back to reading Cyborg, but I'm still pissed DC ditched the Ivan Reis redesign. So, I can't say I've followed comics too closely in quite sometime, but I've been reading the main series of Civil War II (Civil War I is about when I stopped reading regularly) and boy Carol Danvers just seems like the worst f***ing person. And people who have her back seem like Nazi levels of "just following orders" blind ignorance to whats going on. Like, I know Civil War I kinda fell apart and made Stark look like a douche but I atleast feel you could see where he was coming from when everything started, this just feels like forced conflict. The Glaring issue with this Event is how much of a cynical plug for the movie it was. "Oh Civil War is out in theaters, better making a comic with the same name to cash in." Like, it's one of the most blatant use of a Conflict Ball I've ever seen in a comic.

I really really really really don't like Lisner's art in Harley Quinn. The only artist on that team that I really enjoy is John Timms.

Also, since I'm on a kick of getting back into comics again, is DC Rebirth a good spot to jump back in? Like, if I dive into a bunch of the Rebirth titles am I gonna have a good idea whats going on, or am I gonna be completely lost because of not being familiar with New 52? If you must check out New Super-Man. The premise is that a Chinese government agency wants to be taken seriously with superheroes so they are creating their own Justice League knock off. The catch is that there Super-Man is a teenage kid who is a dick. Not evil. Just a dick.

Read the Rebirth issues, they're like extended trailers of what you'll get from each one. Rebirth isn't a reboot, but it's definitely a fresh start.

Picked up Aquaman#7. Nice filler issue with Manta being a badass and Arthur and Mera being all cute with their cuddling.

Until the last few pages it wasn't bad. You kind of know going into a Millar title what you will be getting. Was hoping he had done more with the idea. All I have read recently is a huge stack of Gold Key Hanna Barbara cartoon tie in comics.

Top ten for the week 1. Batman #7 2. Justice League #5 3. Civil War II #5 4. Trinity #1 5. Superman #7 6. Nightwing #4 7. Green Arrow #7 8. Seven To Eternity #1 9. Amazing Spider-Man #18 10. Green Lanterns #7 www.bleedingcool.com/2016/09/25/bleeding-cool-bestseller-list-return-monster-crossover/I can't help but crack a grin that Doc Ock's rampage was beaten soundly by a happily married Superman having a quiet day at the fare and a dinner with Bruce and Diana. Really random question - does anyone have any of the Kotobukiya Art Fx statues?
If so, has anyone tried do repaint them at all?
Probably not, but worth an ask

It's Thor's 75th anniversary next year, he and Frenz had a long run on Thor, so could be related to that?

Superwoman was one of those comics I was *Shrug* about when I first heard it announced, But honestly it's actually pretty good. {Spoiler}Lena Luthor as a big bad is something I'm looking forward to

So the exclusive Venom#1 cover to the first one thousand retailers turns out to be a retrace of a Todd McFarlane Venom panel from the issue prior to ASM#300

I just bought the IDW New Mutants Sienkiewicz edition the other day, and I'm kind of annoyed that for the price I paid, the book, which is larger than the collections I typically read, doesn't lay flat. It's otherwise a very nice piece, but it's something I wish publishers would sort out: I don't want to read your books while holding them at an angle, especially if they're very tall, wide, or thick compared to a regular TPB.

More from MJ in RYV Action Comics: {Spoiler}A mysterious man (who had observed Supes and Clark fly off last issue) ambushes a security guard at Geneticron and plants a device on the building.
Meanwhile, Supes takes Clark to the fortress and uses a Macguffin from an unseen adventure of his to probe his memories. The device confirms all memories of Clarks appear to be "real", including the idea N52 Superman sent him into hiding until he could expose Genetricron, but losing his powers ultimately caused their strategy to fail. Clark is a little peeved at Supes constantly wanting him to prove he is who he claims. Supes and Clark learn that Doomsday was stored within Genetricon along with "one other " and freed by thieves. Eventually gives Clark a signal watch and they return to Metropolis to find the Genetricon building has vanished.
After a lengthy sequence where Clark writes an article for the Planet and Supes shows Lois and Jon a new escape route for the family, we see the mysterious man enter a hotel room, where he is greeted by what looks like an Apokolips-esque spere with the Superman symbol on it. "The path is clear, the only answer is death" says the man Detective Comics {Spoiler}Very decompressed, but with a bonkers ending, as Nightwing and Gotham Girl are affected by the virus and transform into hulking monsters themselves that tower over the city
