The weird part was they mention the Teen Titans...so one of the TEEN Titans has a 17 year old daughter.

Seriously, did she get really really really really really REALLY drunk and mistake Penguin for Nightwing resulting in that?

I'm going to guess this is set much later in Kory's life. It's the only way it makes sense. Also her kid looks way too much like Raven.

Yeah, before reading what the book was about I just figured it was a more body image positive take on Raven. Kinda like the Squirrel Girl comic. As for the plot, it feels like it could have been a indy comic idea where you could plug in whomever in the Starfire role and call it "I'm not blank." Not really feeling it regardless.

Yeah, that's kinda what I said on the other page... it seems like they could have stuck just about anyone into that position. I kinda get Starfire in that she's the bubbly cheerleader personality wise... so the juxtaposition of personality is more obvious... but still.

That... seems like a weird character to base that on. I mean I Get it they wanted the super bubbly character and the less outgoing daughter... but... like... why Starfire specifically? I have this weird and possibly incorrect hunch it's some woke statement in regards to Starfire's sexual image/nature over the decades (part of it, of course, is that her kid is nothing like her) and how some creators have dealt with or just thought about that ...... however I wonder if DC and the writer realize that they've just used a young adults graphic novel to make Starfire a MILF...

Marvel has cancelled the Morbius series (officially, even though I'm sure everyone thought it was done after its first arc ended) as well as the Daily Bugle and Dark Agnes miniseries. ........and they've also cancelled the adaptation of Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. Might as well toss those TFA and TLJ adaptations out if you were hoping to complete the set. Wow. www.gamesradar.com/marvel-cancels-rise-of-skywalker-morbius-more/

That Starfire book doesn't appeal to me, but I'm not like others who are inevitably going to be all "RRARRRGHLE BARGLE WORST COMIC EVER! DC IS DEAD! BUY MY SHITTY FROG COMIC! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!"

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of the usual suspects losing their shit over the Starfire book...
is it that hard to say... this doesn't interest me and get over it?

Yeah, I've seen a bunch of the usual suspects losing their shit over the Starfire book... is it that hard to say... this doesn't interest me and get over it? No because these people can't feel validated unless they get everyone in the world to agree with them, no matter how much shameless kicking and screaming they think will somehow help them make their case.

Learned today that IDW published a color version of the old Fantaco series Zombie War. Read this series and the sequel years ago. Mostly cause Kevin Eastman and Eric Talbot did the art and writing. Not sure if I like it being in color. The b/w art had this underground comix feel to it.

I'd like to see Andrea Beaumont finally make a comic book appearance, but do I need to be burned by Tom King again to do so? Hrm...

I was literally just thinking earlier this week how nice it's been that Marvel hasn't had any reboots for a couple years and the books have been able to just tell their own stories. So much for that!
