DC are relaunching Batman Beyond in April 2022. Seemingly spinning out of a story in this week's Batman: Urban Legends where old Bruce is murdered

Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Superman writer, again said on a podcast today he fully expects DC to 'deage' Jon Kent, but that he won't be the one doing it... ...He's totally going to be the one who does it isn't he? Considering they're also meant to be outing him, de-aging him would now seem like a pivot cos someone chickened out of it.

Finally got around to reading the final few volumes of Fables. I had stopped at Cubs in Toyland; it felt like after the Adversary story was wrapped up, it just started running out of steam. Having finally finished, it REALLY ran out of steam. I still love it, but Mr.Dark wasn't that interesting a threat especially compared to Gepetto. The war for the Homelands probably should have been the natural finale

Sounds like typical DC left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing to me. Mind I think aging him up was dumb f*** idea to begin with and it ruined any chance of me enjoying Bendis' run on Superman.

Bleeding Cool have leaked a tiny, but significant, nugget from Spencer's climax Ok, that would make so much more sense. Still stupid AF overall but I do like that explanation.

Loads more spoilers from Amazing Spider-Man are coming out today {Spoiler}Peter and MJ definitely make it out of the issue still a couple, it's not clear yet if they remember the deal or if they're engaged again, but the issue ends with them kissing high above the city with a caption describing them as 'unbreakable'. Both the Kindreds and the Post-OMD Harry Osborn seemingly die. Harry tells Peter this is how it's meant to be

I don't mind that explanation, it's not as contrived and convoluted as other stuff in this run. I'm just not sure whether it was worth hinging a ~3 year run on the goal of seemingly retconning two stories most people seemingly would have been just as happy forgetting outright.

More spoilers from Amazing Spider-Man. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Those looking forward to more resolution to OMD are going to be disappointed. Other than learning Mayday will be the one to defeat Mephisto in the future, we don't get much more than that. Peter and MJ don't learn of the deal, but at least they still end the issue as an 'unbreakable' couple, so there is fresh hope Mayday will come to pass.
Doctor Strange's game with Mephisto isn't to reclaim Peter's soul, but to free Harry from the devil and put a stop to Kindred, who are revealed to have always been the Stacy Twins, they weren't possessed by Harry at all. Mephisto tortured both Sarah and Gabriel's souls in hell each time they died and corrupted them into being his demonic lackeys. The Harry Osborn A.I is also revealed to be have been controlled by Mephisto all along
BND Harry reveals to Carlie that he was a clone the entire time, he equips himself with the goblin glider and pumpkin bombs and heads off to confront the Kindreds. He helps Peter, Norman, and MJ against them but is eventually killed.
Strange's gamble pays off and Harry's soul is finally freed...the Kindreds are released from Mephisto's control and they degenerate and die

Wasn’t May the baby that was thought to be born dead and taken by Norman?

I feel like this Kindred story has been one big circle jerk.
It's Harry! No it isn't. No, it definitely is! Nah-uh! No really, this time we mean it, it's really him! Honest. Syke, you guys really thought it was Harry? Ha! Hey guess what, we lied, it is him! Swerve, it was never Harry! *rinse and repeat*

Wasn’t May the baby that was thought to be born dead and taken by Norman? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Yeah, it's never been clear whether or not Mayday was miscarried or kidnapped. MJ absolutely believes her baby died, but we saw that the doctors were working for Norman and took the baby (or the baby's remains) to Norman and that was the last of it. It was followed up on in the alt. universe Spider-Girl which revealed Kaine ultimately tracked the baby to Europe, rescued her, and took her back to her parents.
Fans have always preferred to believe she's still alive and out there.
The daughter in this issue is also wearing Mayday's outfit (itself a variation of Ben Reilly's suit), where as Annie May wears a different suit in her universe that her mom made.
Actually, I just thought about this...what if the daughter that defeats Mephisto isn't Mayday, but Ben Reily's kid? At the end of the recent issue, they reunited Ben with his lover Elizabeth Tyne, it's entirely possible Marvel might be more willing to let Ben grow as a married Spider with a family than they ever will risk with Peter and MJ (besides alternate universes)
