That's all on Gail Simone. That's on Dan DiDio. Gail Simone took a job DC would've given to someone else if she hadn't (and did when she didn't play ball the way they wanted...). I just like shitting on Gail Simone. In jest. Partially. I do hate that Babs isnt in a chair anymore though. She was such an inspiration.

I had a shower thought today:
I'd like to see DC and Marvel try to do crossovers again, but put characters together who aren't obvious.
Like Batman and Dr. Strange. Ra's al Ghul's supply of Lazarus pits has run out, and now he's tapped into the multiverse, and namely the energies of the Marvel universe, in order to sustain his long life. In doing so, he's created chaos in the magical realm on earth.
Or Superman and Daredevil. The Justice League are chasing Lex Luthor through a portal and Lex lands at the office of Nelson and Murdock. Luthor begs the lawyers to represent him as multiverse asylum seeker.
Or Wonder Woman and the Hulk. Ares plucks the Hulk from the Marvel universe and plants him in the middle of Themiscyra. The Amazons attack but cannot stop the Hulk's unbridled masculine rage. Cue Wonder Woman.
Does anybody have any unconventional DC/Marvel crossover pitches you'd like to read?

Never to be outdone with their shitiness, some edgelords on Twitter are burning photos of Tom Taylor and sending photos of it to him. Tom's great sin is, I guess not re-crippling Barbara Gordon? There was also how he took Jon Kent and made him the most boring LGBQT hero on the DC roster

But the Tom Taylor hate seems to really be come from young fans who literally weren't even old enough to read comics before Barbara was already back to being Batgirl. It's just shitty people being shitty and not being aware that actions have consequences.

This week's Nightwing was a beautiful celebration of my favorite character in fiction.

Hitman from DC stumbs out of a bar into an alley and runs into D-man from Marvel. And they share a bottle of ripple. Even as a kid I didnt like the Marvel/DC crossovers. Outside of Xmen/NTT.

Marvel's Rainbow Rowell is heading over to DC to write Lois Lane strips for Action Comics Wonder if that means She Hulk is going to be ending Gail is regularly writing X-Men and her stint on Action will only be three issues. The Lois stories will be short back-ups too. Many Marvel and DC writers who aren't locked down to contracts are jumping back and forth at the moment.

Roxxon Presents: Thor might be the weirdest and funniest and kinda most horrifying comic I've read recently. {Spoiler}The gist of it is that it's presented as an in-universe comic by the Marvel Universe version of Marvel Comics, which had been bought by the evil Roxxon corporation. It's part of a scheme by Roxxon's minotaur CEO Darrio Agger to subvert the mythology of Thor, and the way he does it is by having this comic published. The comic in question depicts Thor as a vapid, shallow dudebro "hero" sponsored by Roxxon who goes after caricature versions of environmental activists. My description can't do this comic justice in how weird it had me feeling.
