Of all the games that I thought would be a defensive war, Giants/Saints was probably last on that list...

The officials in this Pitt/Cincy game are weird. The entire pregame talked up how they would want to flag any little thing to keep the tensions low and not allow things to get out of hand. In the actual game Pacman already got away with a helmet to helmet shot and Mitchell from Pitt landed a late hit on a defenseless receiver and nothing on either of them.

Of all the games that I thought would be a defensive war, Giants/Saints was probably last on that list... On a week of 16 NFL games, I would have ranked it 283rd on the list of potential defensive showdowns.

So the typical NFL Ref usual of doing the opposite of what is expected of you.

Blaine Gabbert to Torrey Smith 28 yard TD. 10-7 49ers. Can't stand Colin "Please pay attention to me" Kapearnik, but if the Niners can hand the Panthers and Blaine Gabbert, a guy who was drizzling shits like two years ago, a reality check I'll be laughing my ass off

So, who thought Giants Saints would be a defensive battle? See my post earlier. In an NFL week of 16 games, I would have ranked that one 283rd in prospective defensive battles.

We're in an NFL week where The Browns are killing a team and The Giants/Saints game is a defensive war
What a bizarre universe we've entered...
