This is devastating. As a golfer I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Mr. Palmer. Man, this one sucks.

Damn. One of the reasons for the popularity of Golf, particularly the boom in the 50s and 60s. RIP The King.

Oh for f**** sake.
My Dad and I were just talking about how every golfer should learn to have Arnold Palmer's composure on the course. He's a major reason for the sports popularity and just an all around class act. R.I.P.

This year sucks...
Just almost everything sucks...
RIP Arnold Palmer. I would have one of your drinks in your honor, but I hate ice tea and I am not a huge fan of lemonade either.

RIP
What a depressing day.
Arnold brought class and prestige to golf and helped make it popular to the masses.

RIP to a true legend of the game. Also, it's good to see people burying ESPN for literally reporting this just a couple minutes ago. They get worse by the day it seems.

I'm vice-president of my local golf course, I absolutely live for golf. Eat sleep and breathe the sport. Arnold Palmer was a legend of the sport, a true gentleman of the game, and one of the most important golfers who ever swung a stick. To paraphrase Neil Young, The King is gone, but he won't be forgotten.
