I feel Gulak should have politiced harder to get Orange Cassidy as his partner for the Dusty Classic.

So Aries is in and has a mystery partner. I wonder who in this new generation will step up and become the next superstar? This superstar will need to awfully strong to take on the world with Aries. NSFW Warning {Spoiler}https://vine.co/v/ei5DvP3DHpv

Official bracket aka Wikipedia was wrong: I think the final will either be AOP vs Itami/Kota, or Team Aries vs Do It Yourself (I can't help but feel a team named DIY isn't long for this world)

That's a pretty lopsided bracket with The Revival, AOP and DIY all in the same half, it'll be interesting to see it develop.

DIY/Revival in round 2, probably with DIY winning to get a title shot. Also say they beat AoP and take a post match beating to set up the finals.
Go with Aries cheating to beat Itami to.get to the finals.
Team GN/DIY in the finals, I'll say DIY wins after Itami and Ibushi foil another attempt at cheating by Aries.
That gets 2 of the check marks off the DIY list, leaving the tag titles for them.

Can we just take a second and appreciate that we got a freelancer wrestling in WWE right now? By all accounts, with no confirmation of Nese, Lun and Gulak signing, we have FOUR freelance wrestlers in WWE right now

I thought this was tournament was going to be a big let down with how the tag team division was looking in recent weeks. I am now very excited for this.

No word on those three signing yet.

Would have preferred Tozawa but by all accounts, that wouldn't have been possible since he just did a Dragon Gate show the day before but hey, Perkins isn't exactly a terrible replacement.

Based on the results at the house show in San Jose, the semi finals will be as follows (spoilered due to still unaired TV results)... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}TM61 v SAnitY The Authors Of Pain v #DIY
Authors Of Pain defeated No Way Jose and Rich Swann, while TM61's Shane Thorne defeated Roderick Strong in a singles bout to determine the advancing team, likely changed due to the facial injury suffered by Austin Aries.
