I get the hate for the Eddie move given he's lost his last few matches and it seems out of no where but he is also the guy that came the closest to beating Lashley lately. He would have beat him at DX if not for Miracle and the Moose, then one slip up cost him against Lashley in the cage. Hell, he didn't even get pinned or tapped in the GC matches, losing by split decision both times. It is not too crazy for him to beat Lashley looking back at how he's been booked over the last two tapings.

I really do feel bad for people who paid full price to watch Bound for Glory only to have a title change on the very next episode of Impact.

Are you freaking kidding me???!!!! This f***ing company makes me want to drink. I remember when Josh Matthews called Eddie Edwards a future world champion and I freaking laughed at Josh. Little did I know TNA would be so stupid to do such a thing. |

Until EC3, he was the guy Lashley was feuding with and took him to the limit a few times. For losses, he lost once to Lashley in a cage, once to DJZ and then two split decisions in the Grand Chapionship tourney and that is over three months I believe. Other than the suddenness, this isn't as crazy as it seems going off a single tweet. When we get to the show I wager it will be a lot better received. |

I can't see Davey returning he's actually getting paid now at his work why risk it and return to tna. So that would save us from the clone wars again You never know, TNA is the only company that let him get aways with his style of wrestling. Plus haven't he claim retirement before, only to return like a day later? |

I get the sentiment behind it, but the problem is that his GC matches were both against Aron Rex, and he was scored as losing those matches for not being able to fight as hard as f***ing Rex could. Lashley has been portrayed as pretty well above everyone else, not just "a guy with the world title". The match itself might even turn out to be very good, but it's just weird and baffling to me that they would. It would be like if Sami Zayn just had an out-of-nowhere match over Roman Reigns circa five months ago, and had a totally clean win for the title off of him, in terms of the suddenness and weirdness of it. Lashley The Destoyer was the one unironically good thing that TNA had going for it and now that's had a stop put to it. |

This is why TNA PPVs do so bad to begin with because they done this kind of crap so many times. They made the PPVs worthless. Look at last years BFG? Lockdown 2010 (Same title change hands with no hype.) Angle got the belt back from Sting the next Impact after Sting won it. James Storm beat Angle the next Impact to win it after Roode failed to only have Roode win it the following week. This is one of the reasons why TNA is in the shape that it is because they don't understand what a PPV is and how it works. |
