Honestly, the most surprising thing about the tapings so far is that apparently Aiden O'Shea still exists.

Scoop #26: Gail defeated Maria in a no dq match Maria is no longer head of the KO division I'd just like to note that going by the time codes on the tweets this match was 24 minutes.

Wasn't Aiden O'Shea involved in Corgan's Resistance Pro promotion?

I mean it could be worse than Eddie E (think about world champ Grado, Shera or Eli Dr...wait)
He's a very good worker, misses anything resembling charisma and steps in front of a mic roughly twice per year...

BTW, Cody is leaving after these tapings. He's starting with ROH in December.

My bet is that Cody doesn't win the title due to interference from Mike "I Threatened To Ruin This Specific Show Even Though My Presence Drags Down Every Segment I'm In Even When I'm Not Angry" Bennett to further their feud, but that Cody has Eddie totally beat before that happens.

I'm not mad about Ed "Eddy" Edwards winning the TNA title. Though sacrificing their most legit and best act in Bobby Lashley to make it happen is one of the most bonehead moves TNA has made. My beef is that they spent the last few months making Edwards be the "close but no cigar" guy with the last month losing to a wide array of midcarders before winning the big one. So by that; Rex, DJZ, Galloway are better than the current world champion of TNA. Yeah, they did a shock win but the new champ got no real credibility.
TNA realize Rex was not working as a face so they are turning heel. Maybe they shouldn't took away all the things that made people like him. Or had actual plans for him. Or watch any of his matches to realize he is not a ring general so let's not put a belt on him that requires that.
Gail Kim will somehow lose to Maria who loses it to Allie before she loses it to Brandi Rhodes in a 4 way match before the marathon tapings ends.
Eli Drake vs EC3. This match should be sponsored by Signature Pharmacy and Balco. Imitation Rock vs Triple Fake.
The X Division continues to be the same. Same as it ever was.
Billy Corgan dresses more like someone who believe in conspiracies than an eccentric rock star. And he got his faux Irishman to be his heavie. Neato.
Cody vs Mike Bennett sounds as exciting as eating a mayo and cheese sandwich. And since it's Mike Bennett related, this feud will be all over the show.

So is TNa now adopting the carny tactic of tricking a new idiot each time they need cash for a taping or ppv?

24 minutes?F*** off. & wow they had a simple story to let Allie finally stand up to Maria and be the one to accomplish these things and they couldn't even do that. Whether or not you believe WWE is ripping off the Maria/Allie stuff with Charlotte/Dana, I can guarantee WWE still do the split better. But even then Charlotte can actually wrestle and while Dana has regressed we know she still has a future. Maria is meant to take a beating from Allie not from Gail. She's basically 3rd in line now behind Gail And Brandi Rhodes

As I said before Eddie reign will be like Sabin. He will be overlooked and shitted on so they can move to the next feud which is either Eli Drake, EC3 or even both before the tapings are over. Cody has literally come in for 2 shows and beat Bennett, way to spend that bread helping Cody achieve something that helps him and does nothing for you TNA.

I really do feel bad for people who paid full price to watch Bound for Glory only to have a title change on the very next episode of Impact. This is why TNA PPVs do so bad to begin with because they done this kind of crap so many times. They made the PPVs worthless. Look at last years BFG? Lockdown 2010 (Same title change hands with no hype.) Angle got the belt back from Sting the next Impact after Sting won it. James Storm beat Angle the next Impact to win it after Roode failed to only have Roode win it the following week. This is one of the reasons why TNA is in the shape that it is because they don't understand what a PPV is and how it works. Yep, for years TNA has drilled it into people's heads "our Pay Per Views don't matter". The big title match we've been hyping? the challenger will lose at the PPV and someone else entirely will win on the first Impact following it. That's as TNA as STICKIN' IT TO THOSE GUYS UP NORTH!

Goddamit Billy, what the f*** are you doing.
1. Edwards just lost an important World title-type match the day before to a weaker opponant.
2. There's nothing I hate more in wrestling than bait and switch where you have a long-drawn storyline where a guy who had the title in a long time go to the big PPV event and retain but lose it the next time on the TV tapings. It's shitting all over that event and those that paid for the PPV. Bichoff and Hogan did this with Roode and I see that Corgan is as bone-head as them. Never change, TNA.
3. You have your epic storyline ready to go RIGHT HERE with freakin Moose vs Lashley! With Moose going over. WTF are doing, you stupid clown.
Again don't tell people that someone is not good enough to win a World title, then have him win another one right after. This kills the psychology of wrestling.

I'm just glad I could be in this thread when Edward "Eddie" Edwards won the big one.

To tell you the truth, for a short pop as a surprised winner for a title match like this, I would have prefered if it had been someone like Storm winning the title.
