The Giants go from a shoo-in to go 3-0 to a 2-3 train wreck with a pretty good Baltimore team coming in. Nice to see the wheels come off this season in record-breaking time. Coughlin's regime gave you a tease around this time before the inevitable 2nd half collapse.

You really can't hold too much against the Giants for losing the Pack and the Vikings. You can hold it against them looking kinda shitty though. They need to wake up if they won't want to get stuck in the dreaded 8-8 Zone, where you are just good enough to avoid having the make the changes your team really needs.
At least when you go 6-10 or worse you can start making big changes and people won't fight it.

Week 6 is a potential statement week in the NFC.
Atlanta and Dallas on the road at 4-1 against a pair of NFC stalwarts- Seattle and Green Bay- who are tough to beat ay home.
Seattle and Green Bay are both 3-1, but.... are we absolutely sure they are looking the part of NFC contenders/favorites?
This is a bit of a prove-it game for the Falcons and Cowboys with their hot offenses against a pair of teams that have been there and done that (given the NFC's parity unlike the AFC) Seattle and Green Bay are established proven winners.
In other words, it's the up-and-comers against the establishment.

I don't know if I'd call that roughing the kicker. I would've called running into the kicker. Which would've still gotten the first down for Carolina.

Carolina went from Superbowl without their Top WR, to getting him back, losing Norman, and going 1-4 to start the year... yikes
They play The Saints next, which could be a divisional knockout game...

And got 100 Yards in Penalties, that's the third time we've lost a game with that exact same officiating Crew, and they're always rough against us and the other team gets jack shit. Something ain't right...

For the Panthers, it's win every remaining game or they're DELETED (depending on what happens to the Rest of the NFC SOUTH)
