Note to American Express: Tina Fey is annoying me to the point of wanting to put a remote through my TV. And I'll buy my new set with my Visa. Hell. I am surprised AMEX is still around these days since you can't carry over a balance on it. It used to be useful back in the day, but now with debit cards being a norm not so much. I know membership has its privileges, but I really don't need to pay a membership fee yearly for the privilege to order cheap flashlights and other crap.

Since they're more and more common lately, I really, really don't get Mass Mutual's commercials. On paper they make sense, outline reasons to get insurance, but they seem to be deliberately written and directed to come off as fake and inhuman as they possibly can, to the point I don't think anyone at all could possibly be as shitty an actor as every single person in these commercials is without doing it entirely on purpose, and they all feel like they last for hours.

Another one I'm seeing more and more lately - commercial for... I dunno, Sprint or Verizon one, where a guy rambles in a really smug way about how their product is almost as good as competitors' so you should buy them instead. It comes off like it's by someone really insecure but uncomfortable with lying or spinning things. What's weird is that these commercials came out after Ricky Gervais' patronizing but true "why would you buy a company that's almost as good as us" campaign ad for some other phone company.

VIPoo. I thought it was a parody. I know it's intentionally silly, but damn.

About the Panera commercials: I don't think I have ever gotten a sandwich there. They need to talk about their noodle bowls and soups instead.

I think it's Pizza hut that has the sad alien trying to get home. It's doesn't make me want pizza, it makes me sad. I want to help him.

I'll be honest, this endless wave of Colonel Sanders is just getting bizarre. Apparently I completely missed the Rob Riggle Era, which fell between the Age of George Hamilton and Pete Campbell Period. I'm seeing Riggle again in the football commercial. I hate the Mt. Dew Kickstart commercials.

Just saw one I immediately wanted to call out. Another Cena pistachios commercial, this time with him playing catch with a guy, hitting him with the ball, then being chased. Pistachios are only brought in them zooming in on a bag of them as the chase happens. Yeah.

While I haven't seen them on TV, the new Stride gum commercials that I've seen in loading of some videos are WTF.

What's the deal with Bears and toilet paper? I guess if you have a hairy ass, it's assuring that your waste can be removed with their brand. Now, question...why the female voices? That is something I don't want to think about. As George Carlin would say, "These are the thoughts that kept me out of the really good schools."

Well, okay. Remember the toilet paper commercial I mentioned about the frog that has to watch you shit? Just saw a Chase commercial with a woman simultaneously trying to sell you on their card and riffing that one while it played in the background. What?

Taco Bell-You can pick any of them the past few years but the one with the baby is pretty ridiculous. First of all it is obvious that the couple has never met the boyfriend and second it is obvious that the boyfriends hands are full. Why would you insist that someone who fits in one of these categories hold your baby?
Heineken Light Can I flip you meat?-Lets have a gay man ask another man can he flip his meat
Geico-Why couldn't some bad driver did not do the world a favor when the Gecko was in the middle of the street in Bristol. In fact had I known he would have been in the middle of the street I would have been glad to make the 3 1/2 hour drive up there. Then again there is this problem. If someone was to have ran over the gecko do they send the roadkill truck from Tennessee or Virginia? To think it could lead to a big dispute over who has to scoop him up. Or they could mutually agree to leave him there, after-all buzzards have to eat too.

It's probably specific to San Antonio, but look up the San Antonio Spurs commercials for HEB. I get them on youtube constantly, and they're really damn weird. "It's a chicken retreat!" Some of these are funny (Tony Parker scolding Tim Duncan for trying to give him cooking tips), but others aren't very good.

Heineken Light Can I flip you meat?-Lets have a gay man ask another man can he flip his meat That one is just baffling on a basic product pitch level. Our product is so good, people will pass on getting it for free if asked to do something super minor and pointless!

Come to think of it it reminds me of when they did the Bing vs. Google test site thing and practically everybody had Google win but if it did they'd just say, "Well, yeah, but Bing usually wins so nyah!"
