I will say that on Talking Smack, Daniel Bryan did some back peddling and revised it to Natalya simply not having a spot for the moment, so she could end up on the team in a last chance kind of way.

I think Nikki as captain opens up the start of her feud with Becky over the title, with Becky having reservations about why she's not the captain despite being the SmackDown Women's Champion. Would be a long burn until where it should end, at WrestleMania.

I really hope Goldberg doesn't get booed out of the building because of the Bret Hart Starrcade incident. That's all in the past and plus, I really doubt Bret would be wrestling today even if he hadn't got injured.

I'm torn on how I'm going to react during Goldberg vs. Lesnar.
I was a MASSIVE Goldberg mark in the 90s and loved every bit of The Streak. So I am looking forward to seeing him live again (first time at a house show in Nov 03) but, I have been a MASSIVE Lesnar mark since he first showed up in 2002 and just started wrecking fools. I've never got to see Lesnar live and I can't wait to finally see him take someone to Suplex City.
I guess I'll just have to shut off my inner smark and just let the atmosphere of the night help guide me.

Survivor Series confirmed to be four hours long. If the overall match quality can come close to the main event of the 2014 Survivor Series, this might be the one PPV where the length isn't such a bad thing. Maybe the 5 on 5 format will work well in a longer show? I don't know. Trying to stay positive about one of my favorite shows of the year.

Would be a long burn until where it should end, at WrestleMania. Honestly I don't see at all why a Nikki / Becky feud should last five months. I'd just do the thing at TLC, Rumble at the latest, if that's the route this leads. Not everything in wrestling needs to happen in April. Though that said, the match would make the most sense as a SmackDown Women's title match for Mania right now, but I'd just start building it around the Rumble then instead of having it aimlessly drag on for half a year.

That severly weakens SD's team then. Given that Bray and Kane are likely doing their own thing at the PPV, Smackdown's reps pretty much has to be Styles/Ambrose/Miz/Ziggler/Corbin. 5th one's iffy, but there's no other singles star they've pushed to a decent degree, and as much as they like Ellsworth, in a major match at one of the big four doesn't seem likely. That or they do a mystery partner and its a noteworthy NXT call-up.
If Raw includes Jericho and Owens, them plus Reigns/Rollins/Rusev's a pretty strong team.

Reportedly, Cena and Orton have been pulled from the show. Wow, I would have thought Cena was going to be the Smackdown singles Team Captain for sure.

Considering what we just saw on Raw, in which Goldberg couldn't even throw a knee without fumbling all over himself, I feel like they're really going to have to give the main event some serious "smoke and mirrors" treatment to make it look passable.
I just think it's an ugly combination - a wrestler who hasn't stepped into the ring in front of a live audience in 12 years against the superstar whose matches have become increasingly lazy and uninspired. There's only so many German suplexes Brock Lesnar can throw before you wonder what the hell else is going to happen.

My off the wall prediction:
Roman gets booted from the Survivor Series Team, Rollins and Ambrose don't get on their respective shows' teams at all, and the three of them are re-united as The Shield at Survivor Series and just completely wreck everything and everyone and work as their own complete unit, not adhering to show loyalty.

Why is it every year people coming come up with multi-Survivor Series Tag Matches and it always comes down to one? Or Two?
I'm stoked actually. It's their first real test at a big inter-promotional event.

With what looks like all the champions (other than Kendrick, probably) going to be in Survivor Series matches, what the hell do they fill the card with? I don't think those three matches, and Goldberg/Lesnar, are going four hours. I mentioned Kendrick, he might have the odd quirk of being the only champion defending a belt on this show.

Ziggler hasn't been confirmed for the Male Singles Survivor Series match yet, so he could still defend (though I would question Smackdown leaving off someone who has led multiple Survivor Series teams to victory).

I've heard it's likely the show's going to have some double-booking.
That said, yeah, I don't, like... Get the appeal of this show at all really based on what we know about it. I dunno, maybe if Survivor Series stuff is your bag and you're a big Goldberg fan this show's looking great, but I've seen two terrible four hour WWE PPVs this year as it is, Lesnar / Goldberg didn't even do anything on paper for me when I was 13, and Survivor Series matches just don't appeal to me at all. And even getting beyond that the Survivor Series matches are completely stakeless. At least make it the winning show gets the number 30 spot in the Rumble or something.
Though do suppose pretty much advertising in advance nothing on the show is really going to be anything but four hours of matches that don't lead to anything will make it more palatable than Mania where it was a surprise when the show wound up not being canon.
