I remember that the first time I saw this picture, I just assumed Lancers made it, but no, he is becoming a potato. The best description I've seen of these photos is when someone used them to compare Borash's dedication to TNA, to how some people are addicted to drugs, despite all their destructive qualities. That's not meant to be funny, just accurate.

So John "Big" Gaburick actually did a video when he debuted trying to throw his weight around, talking about AJ being offered what he was worth, a couple of years later AJ is more famous than ever and Gaburick will forever be known as Kevin Dunn's bitch.
Also I never got why he nicknamed himself "big", maybe just over compensating I guess. You don't get to nickname yourself moron, ask George Costanza about it.

That one's not actually TNA's fault, Pop was having power issues at master control due to a storm. Yeah, despite TNA's many faults, you can't really blame that one on them. The feed on the Fight Network was perfectly fine, except for the fact they were showing TNA. Apart from that time they cut the finish of Storm vs Lashley to show an interview with some MMA dude in a cafe

Say what you will about Vince's micromanagement of everything WWE, but control freak or not, the dude clearly lives and breathes his company with a commitment nobody can ever call into question. It was a big deal when he left Wrestlemania 30 early to go into the ambulance with Taker instead of staying to watch the main event go down, and reports that he was conducting a few weeks post-Summerslam from his office due to health issues was newsworthy in that he's never not there himself the whole time. His life is running his wrestling company and it is his baby. At least if he stubbornly goes down with the ship, you can make the argument that he's got the wheel the whole way through and that it's always been that way for him. Dixie plays games to try and keep control of her company by manipulating everyone and lying about even wanting to sell so that she can keep in control, and she doesn't even have the gall to stay there through the tapings and keep shit together. It's f***ing pathetic. Vince is why the WWE defeated WCW and why they're still number 1. It all starts at top, you don't get there by showing up late, leaving early, not give a shit about what's going on outside of a select few, and having others do everything. Vince is the boss that will be the 1st one there, the last one to leave, wants everything to work perfectly so he makes sure everything is going good, works harder than anybody else, and won't ask anybody to do something he wouldn't do. If Vince asks you show up to a mouth of Hell and battle demons, you know he'll be the first one there, and in the front with a sword killing demons. Dixie would show up late, leave early, ask others to take care of it, and tell some people they can do whatever they want during the battle. The thing is, TNA was still doing OK relatively until 2010. What happened in 2010? Dixie stopped sitting at the front row of every taping with her eyes on the show, and became a part of the show which she promised never to do. It's hard to see from the outside when you're part of the show.

You know how they say 'Meth: not even once'? No, it should be: TNA...not even once

You guys are too hard on Borash; it's not his fault that WWE stole his life force and used it to grow Greg Hamilton in a vat. For an essenceless husk shambling around the Impact Zone I think he's doing very well for himself.

He was a successful offensive linesman at a ncaa division II school in the mid 1980's. That's probably where he got the nickname.

So with the whole taxes situation, could Dixie go to jail for that? I know they weren't purposely avoiding paying, but not paying is still pretty serious

So she would. Depends on how connected her family is. If the Carters have friends in high places, Dixie won't be seeing any jailtime.

So she would. Even the Mafia were smart enough to pay their damn taxes after the IRS realised that was the only thing they could provably get them on.

Tax evasion is a very serious crime. So she would. Depends on how connected her family is. If the Carters have friends in high places, Dixie won't be seeing any jailtime. Well, judging by those friends in high places, it may not be the "she would be in a regular prison" thing- if the Carters do, it's more likely either they pay off the back taxes (which they could) and there's no crime to be done, or if she does see jail time, they DO get her in one of the "luxurious" penitentaries. But hey, even if the worst happens, Dixie finally lives her dream when she's on the next season of "Orange is the New Black", so...good for her!

I could see Dixie and Big in prison trying to sell the prison populace a new wrestling company ala the end of the Producers.
