The more I think of it the more TNA management sounds like the Bluth family in Arrested Development. Dixie: I assure you, James, if you come back to TNA, your checks will be on time, and we have very big plans for you! Narrator: They wouldn't, and they didn't. Billy Corgan : EC3, get rid of the Seaward. Dixie: I'll leave when I'm good and ready.

Dixie Carter needs Chris Jericho to follow her around and repeatedly call her a stupid idiot.

I want to see a documentary about Dixie, Gaburick, Bob Ryder, and Borash in jail. I'd say out of those four Borash really doesn't belong. Other than looking like crap now all that Borash is guilty of is putting way, way, WAY too much of his time and energy into a flawed product. Totally agreed. In his book about TNA, Jerry Jarrett says that Borash will "stay as long as there is a glimmer of hope or until we tell him that it's over." Overall, Jerry makes him look like the one honest person in a room full of con men (Jay Hausmann), liars (Len Sobol), crooks (HealthSouth) and lunatics (Russo).

Tax evasion is a very serious crime. So she would. And she won't be put in one of those luxurious penitaries either. (Language Warning)

I know the constant back-and-forth over if it's doable to even try to save TNA or what worth its contracts might have, but seriously, this is 2016, the year a f***ing clickbait website managed to source the money to start their own promotion running cards that feature a healthy mix of major independent names and more locally sourced guys. Let the ship sink so you can start over again, Corgan, it's not worth this shit.

Let the ship sink so you can start over again, Corgan, it's not worth this shit. The only possible reason I think Corgan wants TNA is because of the TV contracts. If he just starts up his own promotion then realistically he's probably not getting TV deals for several years at least, if any at all.

When WhatCulture can create a wrestling company that features Angle, Broken Matt, Cody and Alberto Del Rio on their shows, there's no reason for someone to stay on TNA or try to save it. Just start your own thing Corgan, it can't be THAT hard compared to saving TNA from Dixie

TNA's pretty much past slow motion car crash and went right up to slow motion Hindenburg explosion.

If that is true, it is the TNA model all over again. Even ROH before Sinclair was struggling but they had a better business model which made the take over possible. Loading down with big name talent and trying to run a full promotion is just not wise.

I'm not surprised that after all his sacrifice he's in complete denial that the ship is sinking. He's actually an intelligent and capable person who could have been a real asset to a more competently run promotion. Dixie, Gaburick, and Ryder? Not so much. Nah, guy is a piece of shit. He has behaved like a major douchebag on twitter, making fun of the Caitlyn Jenner cover. Wishing a guy would on twitter then giving the bullshit i was hacked excuse. Him lying to the fans every night about taking them backstage. Him exploding on fans for any minor criticism against TNA. Eric Bischoff despite also being a moron said it best about Borash, just a low rent guy who's lucky to even be employed.

Dixie: Sug I sold all those unbought replica belts, I solved our lex express problem, We own that stupid bus now! Lawyer: American Express Dixie, You know the credit card? Dixie: Well yeah, I know that credit card, How do ya think I bought the bus silly?! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Dixie wanted that bus, since it was on wrestling television in the 90's.

There's no way to start a new wrestling company and make money. That's just how it is. But as party after party comes knocking on TNA's door demanding shit they're owed, any potential money that Corgan or some hopeful sap willing to invest in a company owned by a rock star could use to eat the losses for the time being would have to instead be devoured by what TNA owes. Then he'd have to buy the company. Talent are rumoured to be on their way out if they don't get paid again, so if he wants to keep the talent contracts he'd better pay them soon too, except they won't have a f***ing dime coming in until January so oops I guess not. Their international TV deals have all been dropped or don't look good due to flagging UK ratings and blowing off the entire Sony Six deal like they have, which could lead to even more debt if breaching that contractual obligation means having to pay them back for the travel and logistics the network paid for before TNA ducked out last minute.
The only "valuable" thing TNA has is a TV deal to split paltry ad dollars with a d-list network. But TNA is going to go under and Corgan has apparently already met with the Pop people since becoming president and in advance of his hopeful ownership of the company. This isn't Jarrett begging for nickels outside the county fair, Corgan now has a working relationship and familiarity with Pop. If he goes to them when TNA goes under and tries to sell them on making a new, similar deal with his upstart promotion, and that he's going to make pushes to advertise more aggressively on an external basis to get eyes on the show and the channel. Accept some losses, scale back your aims for a little while and source some lesser known, cheaper talents to keep the costs down a bit more, and try to build something from the ground up instead of from miles underground.
