Corgan's motion struck down, per Tennessean reporter. Not a shock the restraining order was shot down, now they have 24 hours to pay him 2.7 million. Not a bad consolation prize, I guess...

Will be interesting to see if he takes the bread and leaves.
Good news for Dixie tho. She can continue her sales if she does indeed have one in place. Or at the very least continue her conversations for sales.

More from PWInsider: EXCLUSIVE TNA VS. CORGAN RULING UPDATE by Mike Johnson @ 3:20 PM on 10/31/2016 PWInsider.com has confirmed that in a ruling today, the Nashville Chancery Court has denied Billy Corgan's request for a temporary injunction against Dixie Carter, Serg Salinas, Dean Broadhead, Impact Ventures LLC. The court has also dissolved Corgan's temporary restraining order against the company. PWInsider.com is waiting on further details, but what this means is that Corgan will not gain control of TNA and that the current management can move forward with whatever choices and business they desire without having to get his approval. This does not mean the end of Corgan's lawsuit against the company and TNA will still have to repay Corgan's loan of $1.8 million, unless Corgan opts to convert that debt into a 36% ownership stake in the company. Take the $ and run Billy.

Probably the smart thing to do... but I have a feeling this was never really about Money for Billy. then again they've already f***ed around with him so much he may just wash his hands of the whole thing.

I wonder whether Dixie's going to go back to WWE with an offer for the tape library now. Which would probably give them enough money for... one set of Impact tapings. f***'s the point of this, again?

I think Billy was in it for the principal but now that he has nothing to fight for and Dixie still has control he should leave it alone. If they are willing to pay the cash in full take it.

After a bout of furious laughter, I propose either an untitled Impact thread or the title "Same as it Ever Was." Which ever is more apropriate.

Two significant things about this last paragraph in The Tennessean's report: Brentwood-based Aroluxe Marketing, which is TNA's production company and partner, could be positioned to take over the wrestling promotion that has been home to stars such as Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy. 1) The Nazis are back!!! 2) Matt Hardy is listed ahead of Jeff Hardy, meaning he now has more mainstream recognition in a non-wrestling media report. And do you know why? Because Jeff was DELETED!!!!!! Link to full story: www.tennessean.com/story/money/2016/10/31/corgan-loses-legal-effort-take-over-tna/93069526/

It's expected she's gonna sell controlling interest to Anthem, with minority interest to Aroluxe and Dixie retaining 5%. However, Billy being stubborn and insisting on getting shares instead of a payout could cause issues.

This is basically TNA's version of Hell in a Cell with the home town person winning the big match.
Except instead of Sasha, it's Dixie and unlike Sasha, nobody wanted her to win even though she probably was.
So nothing like HIAC.

The question is does Anthem's offer still stand or do they take it back now that Corgan has lost leverage? If it's still on the table, he just needs to take the money and run.

If they want full a good portion of control in TNA they will [ay. If Corgan keeps his shares he can throw a wrench in their plans as it is guessed that Dixie will sell off a huge portion of her stakes and she will have only a slight percentage left but keep her title and running TNA.
