I know people are hating on the current X belt, but I still say its leagues above the original, which stuck around years longer than it deserved to.

Which Memphis belt looked like a 12 pack of cheap beer in virtually every promo pic? This belt? I believe that's the one. They'd always fold the strap parts back and all you'd see was the square center plate. Millican makes quality stuff, don't get me wrong. It's just the old promo pics always looked like Austin Idol or Dutch Mantell were really happy that the gas station had cheap 12 packs. |

Current WWE tag title belts. Obviously whoever designed it was a Michigan State alumni. Woods himself said they looked like pennies. On TV. I think the WWE and PWG World Tag Titles are the only titles to be outright called ugly on screen. |

Universal title. While I'm no fan of the design in the first place, but all that red is horrible. The black is at least passable.

On the Raw where Balor gave up the belt, there was a sign in the crowd that said "Red Belt Sux". It was pretty funny. The first champ vacating it less than 24 hours after winning it combined with that sign was a hilarious combination. |
