Looks like someone whose trying to get fired. What do you mean? When she signed she was in much better shape and months after was getting in even better shape. So to see her like that makes me think she doesn't care anymore cause she's not getting on TV and seems to have little Twitter moments expressing that. So I could just see her not caring and just running out her contract or being lazy and trying to get fired to go to AEW, NWA, ROH or IMPACT were there is less of a logjam in their Women's divisions. |

   I like this new, thiccer Deonna.  I genuinely don't see the problem with her current size, it's not like it's hindering her in the ring and it helps to have different body types in pro wrestling. You dont seem to get what is being said here. No one here has any problem with her weight or size. The worry simply is that WWE will have a big problem with it. This is based on their track record. |

I mean yeah she's obviously still probably in much better shape then most fans are going to be but she's clearly put on some weight and is nowhere near as fit as she used to be or as much as most of the women employed in the company who look like they live in gym. As far as why bother keeping up a TV body if they aren't going to use you on TV goes, I think it comes down to showing what kind of attitude you have to management. I can understand why it would be easy to get discouraged and be well if they don't care why I'm going to bother and kill myself in the gym. However then you look at someone like Chelsea who is in the same position as Deonna but yet is still maintaining her physique and still clearly hitting the gym very hard. I could see management looking at Chelsea and thinking she wants it more and eventually giving her shot while giving Deonna a pass and letting her continue to rot on the NXT house show circuit because of a "why bother" attitude. I can get that, but it doesn't seem like it's effected her ring work, she does wrestle a more submission based and technical style and I do think she still looks good, but that's a personal preference, admittedly. However, I think that the fact Deonna's gotten a bit bigger isn't a bad thing, people have always complained about people fitting a 'cookie cutter mold' and we need wrestlers who look different so they don't all blend in. Chelsea has abs that you could grate cheese off of and Deonna is a bit fuller figured, that just makes Deonna stand out more, theoretically, like, if you have a locker-room full of people who look like Finn Balor and another one who looks a bit huskier, you're going to notice the one who's on the bigger side by default. That's just my take on it; I think that I'd be agreeing with you if it was effecting Deonna's ring work or causing her to be sloppy in the ring because of it. I mean if it isn't effecting her work then it's really not that big of a deal. I was just looking at it more through the company eyes and how they would look at it then my own. I really like the fitness model build most of the women have like Chelsea with the real toned up but still feminine abs that looks like you can grate cheese, but at the same time I don't think every woman on the roster has to have that build. I think having some different body types and having some more full figured girls is good to differentiate. It also would make the fitness model girls look better and make them look even more fit when not almost everyone on the roster has a similar body type. |

Then again, I just like Deonna in general and think it's a damn travesty that her and Chelsea have been on the same house show loop for an insane amount of time. Would it kill NXT to put VXT on TV??
