What is everyone doing about hotels etc? Anyone down to throw in on a room? As of now I will most likely be heading there by my lonesome. If there are any other stragglers, maybe we can collarborate on making accomodations cheaper. I don't plan on being in the room often. If you're going alone I would suggest booking one of the Wrestlecon hotels (Avanti Resort is $119/night in their block). The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando is a cheap option according to Google. Was able to pull up a room there for $80/night after taxes. That's right in the same area also. Oh good call, that is a bit cheaper than where I booked.

I just got my ticket for the post-Mania Raw. Not actually bought the Mania ticket itself yet, not as huge a priority since there are still a ton of solid ones of those left and aren't likely to move too fast until there's some semblance of a card so can wait for my next check, but wanted to pounce on that right away. Not a very good seat but at least I'm in the building.
Didn't worry about SmackDown, crowd will likely be more hot for Raw and not seeing SmackDown means I can leave a day sooner.

I managed to score a couple of amazing seats during the combo presale (thank God I tried "WWECOMBO" as a presale code). Got super lucky. Amway Center tweeted out that Raw tickets sold out in 2 minutes on the general sale this morning. For those that didn't get tickets this morning, I would suggest that you wait it out a bit. Secondary market will be marked up like crazy for a little while and then prices will probably start to fall closer to the event.

Because Evolve moved all their shows, I'm just down to Wrestlecon on Friday Night and NXT (if I can score tickets) on Saturday Night. You have some 80,000 fans and you decide to move your shows 15 miles north of the center, and ROH has a show an hour away. It makes no sense to me.

They usually go on sale in January or February, so keep an eye on WWE's website and social-media platforms. They'll announce the scheduled sessions and what Superstars will be there. If your budget allows for it, I suggest trying for a VIP or Premium VIP ticket. You'll get into Axxess MUCH faster this way, so you'll have more time to walk around and take in everything WWE's fan festival has to offer. Of course, you'll still have to wait in line from autographs and other activities.

I am thinking of just going Wrestlecon on everything. Happy that I just bought $25 GA tickets for EVOLVE and Progress. Hoping I can just sell them to someone who wants to go. Hate the decision that WWN made to move everything. As for NXT, I could see it going the same way at Raw...but I can also see it going the same route as Smackdown at this point. NXT Toronto didn't sell out and the Amway Center holds much more than the 8,000 people the Dallas Convention Center held. Really tough to call at this point but think it will be possible to get NXT tickets.

Also have ticket to Bruce Prichard's live podcast, plan on going to whatever live event Cheap Heat does. NXT and possibly HoF depending on who goes in will round out my weekend.

I'm much more of a "show" person than the convention. I don't even think I'll go to the convention this year to be honest. What I would say is that Friday looks to be a great day for live events there with Rev Pro (4:00) and the Wrestlecon Supershow (8:30) taking place. Hoping they add a 12:00 show on that day as it's their only open spot on their tentative schedule. Here's what I'll tell you about the Wrestlecon Supershow. I 100% HIGHLY recommend it. It is such a FUN live event that features a mix of current independent wrestlers and past stars. The show itself more than likely won't produce a "Match of the Year" candidate but for my money it has been the most fun that I've had at a show over the last two years. It's light-hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously. Much more of a fan experience than a DVD experience. Otherwise I'd suggest Pro Wrestling Revolver's "Pancakes and Piledrivers" show that they are planning at noon on Saturday. They've booked Eddie Kingston vs. Masato Tanaka, a 6-man ladder match, and Ricochet vs. Shane Strickland already for the show. Looking fantastic. Convention wise it can get expensive. It's about $40 to enter and then each person's autograph that you want costs a specific amount. You do get a lot more access to the wrestlers than Axxess though. Good to experience maybe once, but unless you want to meet a certain wrestler it isn't something you need to attend.

The lines at Axxess to do or see anything were way too long.

But, that is disappointing to hear it is a lot of waiting.

Just plan on waiting if you want to meet a wrestler or something like that.

You really should, just to see how much of a sensory experience it is. The convention center is completely draped in WWE, from the outside signage, the huge posters of the stars, and fans from all over the world in one place. And when you step inside, there's so much to see that it's hard to decide what direction to head first. It really is something to see. Axxess isn't just about getting autographs. Throughout the day, WWE will host live matches with the NXT stars. If you're lucky, you can get right up against the barricade and see them up close and personal. I saw what would be Paige's final defense of the women's title when she beat Bayley on the morning of WrestleMania 30.

I'd say even Wrestlecon convention once. Both are fun, especially the first time you go. (only reason I won't be going to them is because I've done it the last 6 Wrestlemania weekends that I've attended and it hasn't changed too much)

The one nice thing about Axxess is that WWE will update the WWE App prior to Mania, and they will publish which Superstars are signing and which booth they will be at, so you can figure out which booth to be at before the wait gets too long.

There any word yet on when exactly the Hall of Fame tickets go on sale? I've got my WrestleMania ticket, I've got a Raw one, not doing SmackDown so I can go home a day earlier, I'm eyeing some Takeover ones on the resale market but hoping the price dips a bit further, but while I'm not hugely attached to the idea of going to the Hall of Fame if I can get there with minimal trouble I'd like to.
