Goddamnit, literally one of their most reliable TV & live markets and they've decided to Deep Six them, and for what? Just in case people get spoiled? Get the f*** outta here. I remember JB even saying on Twitter that they should move over here because of how well received they were. Although, the fact the British indy scene is starting to build up steam might have taken some of the shine off them. But they'd still be pulling good numbers because of the fact they were on freeview rather than paid TV like WWE. With any luck they'll get a deal on Babestation or something here so we can still enjoy watching the company get utterly f***ed. Pssh, at best they'd get their baps out and talk for ages. N..not that I'd know or anything!

I can see Dixie moving the company to another country so they can escape the lawsuits and the unpaid taxes

Seriously though, I cant see many viable options for them apart from maybe Quest (who have dabbled with sport in the past showing football) or Dave (who have shown boxing and cricket). There is that new Channel 'Vice' (the same people as the website of the same name). They seem to be putting some carcrash quality TV shows on.

I can see Dixie moving the company to another country so they can escape the lawsuits and the unpaid taxes I can't imagine that would make any difference right?

I mean they can hide and might make it harder to serve them and do things that have to be done but it would have no bearing on anything TNA did while running their business in the US. They're still responsible for everything.

If the world of sport special goes well, tna will be on itv. It's inevitable.

TNA has always done well on Challenge since it's available in every UK home, a few years ago more people were watching it than Raw

Yeah, or maybe the Horror Channel or Comedy Central would be appropriate! Seriously though, I cant see many viable options for them apart from maybe Quest (who have dabbled with sport in the past showing football) or Dave (who have shown boxing and cricket). TNA's announcement looks to be spinning it as if they are looking for a better deal for the UK audience, but I guarantee this axing is coming 100% from Challenge. There's a network named Dave? It was originally called UKTV G2, which I think they realised sounded stupid. So what's the opposite of a gibberish channel name like that? The most common name in the UK, Dave. At least I think that was the thought process behind it.

I know it's probably not related to the verdict yesterday just because this stuff takes slightly longer than a day to get worked out and decided on, but holy shit is this not a good look for TNA.

If the world of sport special goes well, tna will be on itv. It's inevitable. Yeah, that's not going to happen. 1. I highly doubt, successful or not, wrestling ends up on a free view channel again. And 2. They'd more likely go for somewhere where their talent are from the show like RevPro, PROGRESS etc and offer them a deal before even thinking about getting a deal for a company on its long term deathbed. ITV are dingbats sometimes but they're not idiots.

On the plus side, I can see challenge signing a UK promotion to a contract.

Now I'd say they're officially lower down than ROH.
II mean, ROH hasn't had a TV deal here since Jamie Noble was champion, but still...

ROH is on national television (syndicated) thanks to being owned by Sinclair, and actually tours getting people to pay money to see them.
