Love Mike Johnson's reaction to TNA's statement: Note from Mike: Yes, spoilers led to one of the end of the company's most important TV deal. Let that claim sink in for a second....TNA doesn't want fans to be spoiled....so they are going to stop airing the program altogether? This is a company that just filmed all of their TV MONTHS IN ADVANCE and in January will FILM THROUGH APRIL. I can't even begin to see or understand the logic in this explanation. It is as bad as the portrayal that the company chose to leave SpikeTV TNA puts so much terrible spin on things that I'm amazed the Earth hasn't gone off its axis completely.

If the world of sport special goes well, tna will be on itv. It's inevitable. Yeah, that's not going to happen. 1. I highly doubt, successful or not, wrestling ends up on a free view channel again. And 2. They'd more likely go for somewhere where their talent are from the show like RevPro, PROGRESS etc and offer them a deal before even thinking about getting a deal for a company on its long term deathbed. ITV are dingbats sometimes but they're not idiots. i know but TNA is immortal. the more it burns the stronger it gets. the most ludicrous scenario that could occur after this latest death of TNA episode is that it gets a better TV deal from somewhere, therefore it will end up on ITV. It's inevitable. and i look forward to the thread about it.

Got to love TNA's moronic spin on why their tv deal with Challenge is ending. So TNA is left only with the Africa deal, POP, Fight Network, and Sony Six. And Sony Six might be the next to leave because TNA ain't trying to do that tour they still owe them or pay them back for the money advancement.

Maybe 'London Live'? That's pretty low rent. I was going to suggest Channel 5 who last gave me wrestling induced headaches when they used to show WCW Worldwide back in 1999, but they're a bit too classy these days. Maybe they'll just upload to Youtube in 10 minute clips so they don't have to pay....

Meltzer reports that TNA had discussions with Premier Sports recently about a TV deal for 2017, but they actually seem like a competent company, because they did their research and were like "NOOOOOOOOOOPE".

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! TNA running out of people to trick into working with them. The chickens are coming home to roost.

That would have been a horrible move for viewers. The Premier Sports channel is quite an expensive subscription channel (I think around £12 per month)and the main sports that they have rights to are NHL, Australian rugby league, Swedish Speedway and Belgian Football.

I have a bad feeling they're going to try for late night on BTSport - or some sort of on demand thing through NowTV (that's Roku for the non Sky types)

These supposed fans, they somehow can't find the spoilers online from months in advance. Do they imagine that some fan has his friend calling from the US like "You wont believe what happened with Lashley and Edwards this week." "Noooooo. I have to wait 3-5 days to find out!!" Love Mike Johnson's reaction to TNA's statement: Note from Mike: Yes, spoilers led to one of the end of the company's most important TV deal. Vaguely related here, but we got the One Night Only for this month last night. It was trailed as Hardcore Justice, but then was a generic set of matches, and then JB called it Against All Odds. Looks like they care so little, they don't even send out the right info to the international partners. Challenge have been forced to apologise, because people thought the wrong episode was being broadcast.

After that kind of debacle, Challenge probably shouldn't even wait to January as should probably stop airing it now. Unfortunately, contracts are contracts, and it's better than risking TNA suing them for breach.
