I don't think there's a single worthwhile addition in that whole video, wow. It's entirely just pointlessly reanimated versions of things we already have multiples of.
Bonus points the new patch has zero gameplay improvements (though they did make sure to add a bunch of MyFaction shit!) so yeah, they've just completely abandoned 2K24 at this point.

Really glad to have the Flash Elbow back again but they f***ed Muta's handspring elbow. No cartwheel, no handspring, just a jumping elbow in the corner. Lame. Overall a pretty weak group of additional moves.

Really glad to have the Flash Elbow back again but they f***ed Muta's handspring elbow. No cartwheel, no handspring, just a jumping elbow in the corner. Lame. Overall a pretty weak group of additional moves. To be fair The Worm doesn't work well in the preview but it does work in match. It could be that. It's still a very shitty list of moves to pay for. |

This was a very minimal effort pack. |

Even Muta not doing it at that point isn't much of an excuse to me given we're still randomly saddled with Bad News Barrett Except He Looks Like He Did On 2010 NXT For Some Reason. If you can be anachronistic in that case why not this one? Or hell, in this same pack they went with 2000 Luger but he has his face music.
Also just watched a video showing off Iron Sheik and the flag in his entrance basically doesn't move and it clips a ton and they didn't give him unique commentary with Hogan so... Yeah, this pack very clearly came from a place of not giving the slightest bit of a shit at this point.

Honestly I’d prefer Luger to be in under one of his WWF gimmicks, either The Narcissist or the all-American, they’re both just more visually interesting to me even if they’re not the best runs of his career.

Icing on the cake for the lack of new Shining Wizards.
Even if you somehow consider it wrong to add a new SW variation for anachronistic reasons, Muta actual has one of the old versions as a finisher.
They legit did not even try with this pack.

Seems like the only new commentary this time around is Perfect vs. Bret and Perfect having referee commentary. Combine with the Perfect gimmick not really fitting the theme of the pack and him having some unique selling and reversal animations it feels really distinctly like he was supposed to be base game and they held him back, given how obviously much more effort he got than everyone else.

 J is Justice I feel so'oh sorry for the folks that spent like hundreds of hours at the Halloween event just to get this f***ing card. Weeks later, It's worth only 300 SuperCoins. L-O-L!!! 🤣 Welp, missed a bullet by not taking part to this particular event. New season, same old bullshit. I hate this game and ' still keep playing it, mostly 'cause of Survivor mode... 😂 They should shoot new photos of wrestlers at least, they just keep using old renders. Why?! 🤷♀️ |
