WCW
Starrcade
December 29th
Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Georgia
Opening Bout
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Dustin Rhodes vs Trick Williams (c)
Trick Williams run with the Intercontinental Championship has been amazing! After winning the IC Championship on his first night as a RAW Superstar, Williams has been taking on all challengers. With Starrcade looming, there was only one man the Champ wanted to face. Calling out Dustin Rhodes, a WWE Producer and part-time NXT Trainer, Williams challenged The Natural to face him at Starrcade. Knowing that these opportunities don't come often, Rhodes agreed to face Trick at the Georgia Dome!
Second Bout
Mixed Match Challenge Tournament Finals
Hustle Liv Respect (John Cena & Liv Morgan) vs Toil & Trouble (Kevin Owens & Isla Dawn)
The tournament that as taken WWE by storm concludes here at Starrcade! Both teams fought long and hard to reach this point, and now the the time has come to crown a winner. John Cena and Liv Morgan dominated their way through the earlier rounds, while Kevin Owens and Isla Dawn took a bit of time to finally gel as a team. With all participants well-rested and prepared to put it all on the line, the stakes were laid out, and the rewards will prove well worth the struggles!
Both participants of the winning team will get to choose between two incredible rewards:
Option A: The Number 30 Entry into the Royal Rumble Match.
Option B: A World Title Opportunity at the Royal Rumble.
When the Mixed Match Challenge Tournament concludes in Georgia, the Road to the Royal Rumble begins!
Third Bout
WWE Tag Team Championship
The Street Profits vs The New Day (c)
The New Day hope to continue their WWE Tag Team Championship reign, but they may have come to face a team that is as close to one another as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are. The Street Profits know the tag team game well, and while the New Day are the current title holders, they have been champions many times before. Can Dawkins and Ford pull off a big win at Starrcade? Or will New Day continue to reign supreme?
Fourth Bout
Sami Zayn vs Karrion Kross
Since SummerSlam, Sami Zayn has not been able to rid himself of the specter of Karrion Kross. Kross ended his Intercontinental Championship reign that began at WrestleMania, however, even after losing the title himself, Kross has continued to taunt and harass Zayn. Sami could take no more, and challenege Kross to finish things once and for all at Starrcade. This seemed to be all that Kross wanted, and accepted the match gladly. This rivalry must come to a conclusion, and in Georgia, we will see it all come to a violent end!
Fifth Bout
Women's World Championship
Charlotte Flair vs Bianca Belair (c)
At Survivor Series, The Four Horsemen defeated The Judgement Day in WarGames. RAW General Manager, Noelle Foley, was so impressed by the match that she granted Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles' requests to face the Women's World Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion at Starrcade. Bianca Belair has been unstoppable in single competition since winning the Women's World Title from Rhea Ripley, and The EST says that she is at the very top of her game, so The Queen had better come prepared to face total defeat. Flair seemed unphased, and promised Belair that she would come to understand why Georgia, and Starrcade, are Horsemen Country.
King's Court
Jerry "The King" Lawler hosts Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock to discuss their tense moment at SummerSlam.
Sixth Bout
World Tag Team Championship
Sheamus & Gunther vs JD McDonagh & Dominik Mysterio (c)
Strange things have been going on in the RAW Tag Team Division. After Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci were unable to secure the World Tag Team Titles in a match against the Judgement Day, Sheamus proved himself to be a true soldier to the Ring General, when The Celtic Warrior blamed Vinci and joined Kaiser in dismantling their now-former faction partner. To show that Imperium is now refocused and made themselves stronger via subtracting their weakest link, Gunther and Sheamus will take on McDonagh and Mysterio for the brand new Tag Team gold!
Seventh Bout
Women's Liberty Championship
Sonya Deville vs Ash By Elegance
RAW General Manager Noelle Foley had been considering a second Championship title for the women of RAW to compete for, when one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship holders demanded that because her partner, Jacy Jayne, was competing for SmackDown's WWE Women's Championship, it was only right and fair that she recieve a shot at the Women's World Championship. Foley decreed that while the Women's World Championship Match was already set for Starrcade, she had been planning to introduce a new title, that Sonya would have to qualify in order to compete for. Sonya did just that, winning a Triple Threat Match involving Bayley and Becky Lynch.
Returning Superstar, formerly known as Dana Brooke, Ash By Elegance, also earned an opportunity winning a Battle Royal the following week. This new name has given new energy to the former Dana Brooke, and we can only hope that her evolution lights a fire underneath Sonya to bring out her best!
Eighth Bout
United States Championship
Samoa Joe vs Logan Paul (c)
It goes without saying that you should always pay what you owe. Perhaps maybe it should be said, though, because Logan Paul did not learn this lesson. When his wrestling coach, Samoa Joe, insisted that Paul pay him for his continued service, Logan replied that he had been paying The Samoan Submission Machine in exposure. Joe did not take kindly to this, and threatened Logan Paul, informing The Maverick that if he did not pay him, Samoa Joe would take what he felt his services were worth, namely, the United States Championship that Logan holds so dear. Now, replacing Coach Joe with his new training buddies, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, Logan Paul intends to shock the world and defeat another wrestling legend.
Ninth Bout
World Heavyweight Championship
AJ Styles vs Drew McIntyre (c)
Like his stablemate, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles is set to compete for Monday Night RAW's World Championship against the dominant title holder, Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior has an iron grip on his World Heavyweight Championship, and does not intend to let it go easily. Neither man is what the WWE Universe may call a "Fan Favorite" but that doesn't seem to be keeping wrestling fans from calling this match one to watch! The Horsemen have a chance to walk out with not one, but two sets of Championship gold tonight, it is Starrcade indeed!
Tenth Bout
WWE Women's Championship
Jacy Jayne vs Gigi Dolin (c)
Falls Count Anywhere
You may want to break out your Limp Bizkit album for this one, because this is a rivalry that needs a bright stage like Starrcade to kick off once again. Once tag team partners known as Toxic Attraction, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne have been taking WWE by storm since SummerSlam. First, Dolin became SmackDown's WWE Women's Champion, then Jayne joined forces with Sonya Deville to capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions to 'escape this NXT hellhole' (Jayne's words, not our's!) and become RAW's most controversial new star. We were all surprised when Jayne and Deville got into a heated argument before Survivor Series, leading Jayne to actually join Team SmackDown thanks to dual brand nature of the Women's Tag Team titles. We even got a Toxic Attraction reunion on SmackDown! Perhaps Dolin had wanted to believe she and Jayne were friends again, but it turned quickly from reunion to war. Jacy Jayne betrayed Team SmackDown, revealing this had been their plan all along. Leaving Gigi alone in the match led to Team RAW defeating the WWE Women's Champion with three survivors. Gigi took revenge, appearing on RAW to attack Jacy Jayne and Sonya Deville. After,it was agreed by RAW and SmackDown General Managers, Noelle Foley and The Bella Twins, that this rivalry needed to end before the year did. The ring will not be enough to contain these two Superstars' collective hatred, and so, it's Falls Count Anywhere in the Georgia Dome!
Main Event
Undisputed WWE, AAA Mega, TNA World Heavyweight, Ring of Honor World, NWA World Heavyweight, IWGP World Heavyweight and AEW World Championships
Cody Rhodes vs Jon Moxley
The Winner of the Match will be recognized as the Undisputed Pro-Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion until the stroke of midnight, then all Championships besides the winner's home organization's (WWE) will vacate.
Many matches are described at once in a lifetime, and in many of those cases, it ends up not being true. However, we strongly believe that this match can only happen under these circumstances once in history.
After Jon Moxley was defeated by Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, after Payback, the man went on a world tour. With special permission negotiated by WWE Board Member Sting and Final Boss, The Rock, Moxley was able to compete for several of the top organizations in the industry. While doing so, Moxley captured the world titles of five different organizations. Covered in gold, the Blackpool Combat Club member returned to WWE in the waning moments of Survivor Series, where he challenged Cody Rhodes to this once in a lifetime unification match.
There was one snag initially. Cody Rhodes is actually banned from competing for the AEW World Championship due to the stipulations of a match that took place in 2019. However, upon further investigation regarding the wording of the match stipulation, Cody Rhodes was deemed eligible to compete for the title by technicality (Rhodes is barred from competing for the title while a member of the AEW Roster. As he is now a member of WWE's Roster, this loophole has allowed the match to take place).
It's the biggest match in the history of Professional Wrestling, and it happens at Starrcade in the Georgia Dome!
