The DLC isn't even officially out until tomorrow so I wouldn't worry about it so much. It's just some weird glitch making it available to some people today.

Sorry, but when a game has the dlc sitting right in front of me telling me that I have to pay for it when I already did, I’m not going to trust them to have it fixed by the next day. They didn’t even address this on any of their social media.

I got the Deluxe Edition (I think that’s the one. With Bianca and Rhea on the cover) on PS5 and the DLC automatically downloaded for me with the update.

Working on building my screw around file and man, there is still a serious dearth of decent CAWs for some pretty big names. Feel like there isn't an Edge or Christian yet that really rises past the level of, "Yeah, it's fine," and even then I wanted retro ones so basically had to settle for some completely half-assed ones that look good but have modern movesets and entrances plus no stats or victory animations.
In particular on women I'm kind of just having to skip past a ton of the names on my list because like one single person's opted to do one that doesn't really passingly resemble who it's supposed to be and doesn't have a moveset.

Are all of the Jamie Hayter CAWs still bad?

Had to make some serious compromises in the name of, "There isn't a good CAW of this person yet," so will probably add more names to it later but I've just about downloaded everyone I need for this weird little experiment I'm wanting to try out with just dumping (almost) everyone on all brands, simming a year, and seeing what the WrestleMania cards end up looking like and what kinds of teams have formed and broken in the time since then structuring a new Universe mode around it with a draft and shit to see who goes where from there. Probably going to need to go into setting up some ground rules upfront and might need to make backup files in case the end results just end up breaking something or not being very interesting, like if just all the World titles end up coalescing around the same person or something. The general ground rules I'm thinking are... - Five brands - retro Raw, modern SmackDown, Dynamite, Nitro, and ECW. - Each brand has a World title, a Women's title (with the potential to introduce a midcard title later or maybe split a lot of the women off into their own brand, depending on how logistically that shakes out in practice), a midcard belt, and men's and women's tag titles. The women's tag titles are shared between brands, at least initially. Every brand but SmackDown has two midcard titles while SmackDown instead has men's and women's Money in the Bank. - Duplicates are acceptable only if there's a meaningful distinction in the characters. Like current Cody, Undashing Cody, and Stardust are all eligible, but there's only the one Triple H because there isn't really much that's actually shifted of note there. - Tag teams and stables will be set up in advance but with room to change depending on how things shake out after the simulation. They're going to generally be set out as to best maximize variety, IE doing Kane & X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws, and Triple H & Shawn Michaels as three separate teams as opposed to just doing one big DX group. I'm not doing entrances and shit until after the simulation because that's a massive goddamn slog and there's no point when stuff is going to potentially be completely upended afterward anyway. - I reserve the right to be more hands-on and deliberate in booking things past the first year if only because I have funny things I want to do. - In year two and beyond we will be doing King of the Ring and people's gimmicks will be changing accordingly. - Default champions are going to largely reflect the time period of their specific show as best as possible. Kind of mostly having to cheat on this in regards to the women, especially since there were a lot of older wrestlers where I couldn't find CAWs I liked. - I'm going to do a check-in sim at Survivor Series just to have a midway report and mostly because I want to know what the WarGames matches end up looking like. We're going to do that then jump to WrestleMania then I'll let the AI play out those matches and begin playing post-draft. - The big four shows are each going to be two weeks just to fit as much content as possible onto them, with other PPVs happening around each other but not necessarily being the same ones. - For the purposes of this Chyna is grouped with the men and the in-game Scott Steiner and Wade Barrett are replaced with solo Steiner and Bad News Barrett because I prefer those anyway. - The Fiend and Demon Balor are being left out for special cases. It is nowhere near practical to list every character being included in this so instead here's a list of every CAW presently introduced into this environment, as well as the tag teams - {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Adam Cole Adam Page AJ Lee Arn Anderson Bad News Barrett Bam Bam Bigelow Big Show Billy Gunn Brian Pillman Brie Bella Brock Lesnar Brodie Lee Bryan Danielson Chris Jericho Christian '00 Chyna Darby Allin Eddie Kingston Edge '01 Erick Rowan Gangrel Goldberg Goldust Hiroshi Tanahashi Jeff Hardy '01 Jeff Jarrett John Morrison Jon Moxley Jushin "Thunder" Liger Kane '97 Kazuchika Okada Kenny Omega Kota Ibushi Malakai Black Mark Henry Matt Hardy '01 Matthew Jackson Mike Awesome Miro MJF Monty Brown Mr. T Nic Nemeth Nicholas Jackson Nikki Bella Nyla Rose Orange Cassidy Owen Hart PAC Raven Rhino Ric Flair '87 Road Dogg Road Warrior Animal Road Warrior Hawk Ryback Sabu Samoa Joe Sasha Banks Spike Dudley Sting Swerve Strickland Sycho Sid Tazz Tetsuya Naito Tommy Dreamer Toni Storm Ultimo Dragon Will Ospreay

And here's how the Survivor Series check-in went. Kind of hoping it moves away from the way the titles are merging (just look at Rhea) but we'll see when we get to Mania I guess. If nothing else Eric Bischoff as simultaneous International & Cruiserweight Champion is hysterical.

Hilariously there's commentary for Bret Hart vs. CM Punk. Corey Graves: "Let me tell you Cole, somewhere in North Carolina there's a bald man who is furiously masturbating to this match"

Aftermath of Backlash and build to Night of Champions.
RAW
- Rock is humiliated after losing his GM role after losing to Reigns at Backlash. - Before Rock can cost Reigns his title as he defends it against Okada, Undertaker comes out and chokeslams The Rock leaving Roman free to hit the spear and retain. - Bianca Belair remains AWOL after disappearing at Backlash. - Firefly Funhouse members Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley unveil Nikki Cross as their fourth member of the group. Giggling when asked about Bianca Belair before walking away. - After beating Britt Baker, Carmella and Jazz in a fatal-4-way match, Kiana James is the number one contender for the World Championship against Liv Morgan at Night of Champions - Ivy Nile beats Jazz. Then beats Jade Cargill. Then beats Mercedes Mone and then beats Ruby Soho. After the Ruby Soho match, Kayla tries to get an interview but all she gets is ''Six'' before Ivy walks off. - Firefly Funhouse giggle as Undertaker demands to know where Bianca is. Annoyed by their attitude, Undertaker informs Alexa that her match against Night of Champions will be an 8-woman Ladder match. Her seven opponents will be AJ Lee, Naomi, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez, Trish Stratus, Victoria and Zoey Stark. - Afterwards, Ivy comes in asking why she's not in the Ladder Match against Liv Morgan or facing Alexa Bliss Undertaker informs her that if she's as bad as she thinks she is than she'll have no problem being in a Hell in a Cell match. Informing her that her match will be against Ember Moon. - Chyna is jumped from behind by Rhea and Niki with Jade Cargill helping Chyna. Leading Undertaker to make a tag match between them in the main event of RAW. Nikki dirty pins Chyna for the win. - Rock makes fun of Pokemon with Undertaker taking exception as his pet Tiger enjoys Pokemon, as a result Undertaker tells Rock that at Night of Champions he'll be in a handicap match, 3-on-1, Undertaker walks away ignoring Rock's question as to whom he'll be facing. - Intercontinental Champion Sheamus discovers he'll be facing Bret Hart '97 for the I.C. at Night of Champions and simply tells Bret ''bring it on fella''.
Confirmed matches for Night of Champion from the RAW side.
- Liv Morgan v Kiana James for World Championship - Hell in a Cell - Ivy Nile v Ember Moon - 8-Woman Ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship - Alexa Bliss v AJ Lee v Naomi v Raquel Rodriguez v Roxanne Perez v Trish Stratus v Victoria v Zoey Stark - 3-on-one handicap match - The Rock v Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega and Okada, aka The Outsiders. - Roman Reigns open challenge for his World Heavyweight Championship. - Sheamus v Bret Hart '97 for the Intercontinental Championship.
And that's RAW's done for the build-up to Night of Champions

Hey quick question. If I make a bunch of teams on the base game, will they transfer to universe mode?
I know they didn’t used to but I haven’t had one of these since 2017
