I love that almost any time I'm looking to squash a woman and hit Random I get Stephanie. I think I've crushed her with like half the women's roster at this point.

The fact her default costume sucks anyway means I had to.  Edit: I f***ing hate ladder matches in this game. Mostly for how any time you're about to win, no matter what you've done to the computer, they magically recover instantly to stop you then steal it. Every single time. Just hit my finisher on Ambrose outside the ring when his head was on white, get the belt on the last notch, then suddenly he immediately jumps to his feet, runs in, pulls me off, then I start recovering as he climbs to only suddenly drop back onto the mat to give him time to grab it. |

Great commentary in this game I had a match between Cena and Kane and got this great exchange:
Jbl:What a rare moment both men are making their debuts.
Cole:Little is known about either man...Cena is a 15 time world champ.

I've run into a strange glitch in Universe mode, that being I can't assign certain tag teams finishing moves, even when I go into the move editor and change it manually. For instance, the Enforcers have no finisher, despite me giving them the spike piledriver. Any advice? You might be setting the finisher to MYWWE and not Universe mode. Hit the right bumpber/r1 when it asks you who you want to set the finisher move with. |

Oh, good, despite being locked into a pointless Rusev feud after winning the Rumble I got my title match with Lesnar at WrestleMania. In the opening match. Then I'm facing Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental title. Then the US one. These are all back to back and the main event is Enzo and Cass against New Day. Note I have at no point ever even been in the Intercontinental title ladder yet I'm getting a title shot anyway.

Gah!.. Once again why can't you pick a wrestler's alt attire on the control selection screen in Universe mode? Why do I have to go to a sub-menu during non-event times to set the attire? Plus why can't I assign managers on this screen as well?
It should be simple. But it has to be difficult, doesn't it? Yeah, I could set the attire to 'RANDOM', but it should not be this complicated if you want a wrestler (Like Balor for example) to have PPV specific attire.
As for the managers, they may as well not exist in Universe mode. For guys like Brock, Rusev, and tag teams like The New Day their managers/partners should always escort their guys to the ring (at least in singles matches). Again you have to edit the match to add managers. And you know cause it's Universe mode this will most likely random altering of the match card and deleting unrelated rivalries.

Well, the Intercontinental title match basically went down how it realistically would after Brock had just beaten me into jelly at least, namely I immediately bum-rush Ambrose because I have absolute bare minimum health, he counters my finisher, hits Dirty Deeds, three. Whatever, I'm WWE champ, though Orton's probably ending my US title run that's lasted about seven months. Does at least work well for giving my almost entirely undefeated bastard heel comeuppance despite winning the top belt.
Edit: Nope, I beat Orton via the time-honored strategy of hit him with a chair then keep hitting him any time he starts to stand up.

Another glitch in Universe.
Go to customize a match, set it to triple threat or tag, the 1-1 menu pops up instead

The no pin/submission CPU v CPU glitch in Universe looks like it happens after the 'Forced Replacement' cutscene. When you pause the game you get both combatants in the pause menu. But after the cutscene when you pause it only shows one of the wrestlers, the guy/girl who forced their way into the match (and the person they replaced) is absent from the pause menu.

So if you brawl to a draw in universe, you just go back to the main menu with the match still forced to be made.
