Good work, Nick Khan. Doing a real jam-up job there, gg.

This last year plus has shown that, more than ever, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing in WWE.

Hopefully that means they were planning to do actual wrestlers as DLC this year and not, like, Radioactive Buddy Murphy or something.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the 2K22 DLC were something probably along the lines of an NXT pack, with Bronson Reed, Ari Sterling, Jake Atlas, and Mercedes Martinez or something along those lines.
The second pack though, I think that could have been either a 2K Showcase, or something related to the Hall of Fame. With guys like Christian and Sting showing up in AEW, I think that could have effected the other pack.

Good work, Nick Khan. Doing a real jam-up job there, gg. He's the fall guy, Vince is the one who makes the decisions. Hopefully that means they were planning to do actual wrestlers as DLC this year and not, like, Radioactive Buddy Murphy or something. Maybe this game will have the DLC characters actually be unlocked, instead of it being towers you have to complete with stupid requirements to get those characters.

Man 2k22 is shaping up to be even worse then 2k20,you can't see any reason at all to be excited about it after having its roster cut to bits.

Honestly, I don't care as much about NXT people. I would probably never ever ever play as Bronson Reed. I play more as legends, so it stinks we'll lose some like Sting, but hopefully they toss Yoko in this year.

I guess one positive is the bullshit practice of intentionally leaving guys off the main roster just to sell them as DLC has been disrupted. But yeah, 2K22 is a disaster.

I'm gonna hold off on the doom and gloom until we actually see something representative of any gameplay changes/modes/etc. Like, I predominantly spend My time in the creation suite doing the fantasy feds I've been doing since No Mercy, so as long as the entrance animations are still there, the moves are still in place, and the suite has been expanded(and not just the same Create an Arena since basically 2k16), I'll be good.

If GM mode is back and it let's me create my own show I'm just gonna load up an AEW brand with a bunch of CAWs and squash Raw and Smackdown in the ratings. That'll show those guys who just got $70 from me!

Good work, Nick Khan. Doing a real jam-up job there, gg. He's the fall guy, Vince is the one who makes the decisions. I mean from what I remember it was said a bunch of times that Vince signed off on the names Khan was brought to him not hte other way around. I mean ultimately yeah it's still on Vince for being in charge and saying "yes" but Khan did have a major part in it.

I could’ve sworn VC and locker codes have been in the game for awhile now

there was VC in the past few games, as are like the trading card stuff... but there was no way to purchase it with real money.
The rumor was WWE has been telling them flat out no on microtransactions for a few years,

But will unlocking a Ho still be $500,000?

My attitude on that is that if it's tied exclusively to the story mode then whatever, I don't play that shit anyway. If they hide CAW parts behind it they can shove this game up their asses.

Not having a game out for the last two holiday seasons may have finally been the straw that broke the camel's back and got WWE on board with microtransactions.
