Who would have guessed that my first match to get an Instant Classic rating would be between Nick Miller and Bobby Fish. Got that Big Nick Energy working for ya! In universe mode, the tag title match at Takeover between The Mighty and Undisputed Era was real good, too. Had a fun finish, too. Shane Thorne hurricanrana to Bobby Fish, who was set on the top turnbuckle, and Fish was ‘rana’d into a sit out powerbomb from Nick Miller, which got the three. Probably only because Kyle O’Reily was mid crowd taunt and didn’t realize the situation until it was too late.

Finish was Adam Cole throwing Styles out of the ring, turning away to do his taunt and then AJ sneaking back in and putting him in the Calf Crusher for the submission victory. It was hilarious.

I like how the game has realistically plausible finishes. I’m still getting the feel for it, but this is the most fun I have ever with the Universe Mode.

WWE Smackdown; May; Week 2; Denver, Colorado.WWE Champion The Miz opened the show to brag. He was interrupted by Stone Cold Steve Austin, who challenged him to a title match tonight. Miz agreed to a match but felt Austin hadn’t earned a title shot, so it would be non-title. WWE Network Championship: Johnny Gargano [c] [81] def. Rick Martel [63] via Gargano Escape. (**½) Tables Match: TM61 [57 & 57] def. The Colons [52 & 60]. (**) Paige [75] def. Bayley [76] via Paige Turner. During the match, WWE Women’s Champion Sonya Deville was at ringside for a closer look at her mentor. During a scuffle, they exchanged words and Paige eventually threw Bayley into Sonya. (***) An angry Daniel Bryan [93] called out The Undertaker [96], blaming him for why he wasn’t involved in the finish of the WWE Title match last week. Undertaker said he’s not someone to be summoned and would teach Bryan a lesson as the upcoming PPV. Mandy Rose [68] and WWE Women’s Champion Sonya Deville [71] def. Charlotte Flair [86] and Natalya [64]. Mandy pinned Natalya. (**½) Kurt Angle ’06 [93] called out Andrade Almas [80] to see if he would accept his challenge for a shot at Intercontinental Championship. Almas said he wouldn’t fight tonight, but if Angle can win his match next week, he’ll give him a shot at the PPV. The Velveteen Dream [80] def. Eddie Guerrero [92] via inside cradle. The scheduled main event of Steve Austin [96] and The Miz [91] never got started thanks to a sneak attack from Miz. Show Profit: $46,000 WWE Budget: $4,169,000

Got my first five star match rating last night. Cruiserweight Champion Mustafa Ali Vs. TJP in a non title match on a random 205 Live.
I was playing as TJP, and was trying to get a submission victory, but Ali is super annoying with his resiliency ability. So the match ended with a roll up, of all things.
Also discovered I can edit matches in Universe mode, so the non title match between Adam Cole and Oney Lorcan was changed to Adam Cole regaining the North American Championship in the main event of an episode of NXT.
Oney was doing a good job of just beating me up, but I got a super lucky reversal, and followed that up with Cole’s finisher, for the win, which kinda surprised me since the finisher only just put Lorcan’s head In yellow health.
And since Fish and O’Reilly won the tag titles back from The Mighty when I simmed everything until a PPV, Undisputed Era is back to parading with the gold.

In Universe Mode Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss may have very well stolen the show at WrestleMania with a hell of a match that was super back and forth before Bliss finally succumbed to the Bank Statement.
Instant Classic rating. Very well deserved.

I figured it out I had to search for it on the PS store as it wasn't appearing in the game.

How do you do a surprise MITB cash in? I haven’t been able to do anything except announced cash ins, and I find that annoying.

The option should show up for a second right after you finish a match but it only works in a standard singles match and only if there are no managers.

At Extreme Rules, Curt Hawkins managed the impossible when defeated Seth Rollins in a Steel Cage match (Via Escape) to become Intercontinental Champion.
The next month, at Money In The Bank... he wasn't as lucky.

So you can only do it after title matches? That's dumb. Actually, no, that was an unfortunate by-product of me starting to say something else, you can do it after regular ones. You can just only do the mid-match cash-in for title matches.
