I remember liking how they were more realistic kids compared to the perfect teenagers that the power rangers were. I believe the drummer ended up being an alien tho The Bass Player. The drummer was the football player. The weird guy was the Bass Player... when he left the show the regular group found a "Greetings from the Crab Nebula" postcard. and was replaced by a surfer. I know way too much about this show  |

This one sadly came at the tail end of the power ranger'esc rip offs but I damn enjoyed it and I was damn pissed it never got a season 2 right when it was hitting its stride. YES!!! That show was awesome. |

From what I recall, there was going to be a season 2, but it got axed and Saban funneled the money into Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Mystic Knights was essentially their stab at doing a wholly-original "tokusatsu" show. |

Mystic Knights second season was to be called "Battle Thunder", and yeah, it was actually cancelled so they could fund Lost Galaxy after the surprising ratings smash of Power Rangers In Space, which was intended to be the last season of PR due to the dismal performance of the Turbo season.

I remember hearing about the show,but it never aired in my area. But by then I doubt I would have watched it when it was airing. Then in 2003 as a gag gift I was given....  And even year since then I have watched it near X-mas. Then about 2 weeks ago was in a local thrift store and found....  Haven't watched this one yet. It is odd my area got every other Power Rangers inspired/rip off show. Hell 2 years ago for X-mas I got the entire run of Tattooed Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills on DVD. But we never got Superhuman Syber Samurai Squad. |

Oh yea I got you on that, that was def over the top as far being a "do gooder" Tho based upon the trailer for the movie you can expect them to have "teenage problems" and that clean cut wholesome image of never doing wrong is out the door. |

I used to watch this show every morning. |
