If ever one year needed more than an hour wipe, it's this one. Give him ninety minutes and give us more Cunk and Shitpeas.

I really think he should have had Shitpeas cover the election the way they had Cunk cover Shakespeare this year

I'm assuming this is some british thing I don't understand. Yep. Brooker is a British Satirist/Comedian/Writer who is very sarcastic. He created the excellent series Black Mirror and has done various shows over the years, a lot of which end in "wipe". For about the last decade he's done a year end look back at the bigger events of the year and it's become one of the highlights of the Christmas period in British TV. There is a ton of his stuff on YouTube and if you are fond of British humour, particularly that of a dry, sarcastic kind, then check it out.

On the plus side, I heard somewhere that the obnoxious girl on "My Super Sweet 16" apologised and now regrets her behaviour.
In my head canon, it was Charlie Brooker who made her realise the error of her ways.

In related news, we're getting a Cunk Christmas special. link'Cunk on Christmas'! Charlie Brooker never really holds back on things, so for him to say how difficult it is for him to put a show together shows what a horrific year it's been. Only five weeks to go.....nothing else can go wrong. Right?

Not sure if an hour for every month would cover everything.

However, Ed Balls possibly winning Strictly is the BBC equivalent, so I hear what you're saying.

However, Ed Balls possibly winning Strictly is the BBC equivalent, so I hear what you're saying. I quite like Ed on Strictly to be honest. He's by a long way the worst act left in the competition but compared to other joke acts over the years I find him endearing and feel that he has made great progress as the weeks have gone on. He's certainly much better then the likes of Anne Widdecombe and John Sergeant for example. I do think he'll be gone this week though, the standard of the rest of the field is just too high IMO.

I quite like Ed on Strictly to be honest. He's by a long way the worst act left in the competition but compared to other joke acts I find him endearing and feel that he has made great progress as a dancer as the weeks have gone on. He's certainly much better then the likes of Anne Widdecombe and John Sergeant for example. I do think he'll be gone this week though, the standard of the rest of the field is just too high IMO. He's definitely improved, and actually comes across as much nicer than you'd imagine. It's just frustrating when people who could dance like Greg Rutherford and Daisy Lowe get the boot while he stays in. Mind you, as you said we've had Anne Widdecombe and John Sargent in the past, and they stayed in as well due to the public vote. The general public have a lot answer for!
