Early Installment Character Design Difference: As guessed, Princess Luna's design used here is the only time that particular one is ever used in the series.

Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Through her continuous interfering in their quest, Nightmare Moon sowed the seeds for her own doom.

Shout-Out 1: The scene with the Mayor sending the guards after Nightmare Moon references the scene in Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" after Maleficent curses baby Aurora.

Shout-Out 2: The parade and music in the coda at the end are an obvious shout-out to "Augie's Great Municipal Band" at the end of "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace".

Visual Pun: During Pinkie Pie's song, when she sings "The darkness and the shadows would always make me frown" and demonstrates this with her facial expression, she's looking down from the top of the screen, upside down, so she's in fact already "turning that frown upside down".

Early Installment Weirdness 2: Tabitha uses a different voice for Rarity.

Early Installment Weirdness 3: Ashleigh uses a slightly higher-pitched voice for Applejack.

Early Installment Weirdness 4: Teleportation seems to hurt those who teleport along with the user.

Early Installment Weirdness 5: At the end, it seems even non-unicorn ponies can levitate tickets for some reason.

Most people assign these weirdnesses to the fact that "The Ticket Master" was the first episode written and produced for the series.

Pony Rumble draw again soonish

Daring Do is the first choice to pick her number today, The adventure Pegasus returns after a year away from the competition, she earned the right to return by defeating Photo Finish and Miss Harshwhinny.. A huge chokeslam to Photo Finish Sealed the deal and helped her book her place into this match, but now it is time to see how nice the draw will be to her, she approaches the bowl and digs her hoof in to pick out a ball, opens it up to see what number awaits her inside........A happy nod, she seems pretty pleased with that one.

Daring Do will be Entry 28 into Pony Rumble 6, meaning she has a nice long break before she has to come out, the adventure Pony now really fancies her chances of winning this but there will still be 2 more behind her, Can Daring Do take advantage of this late draw?.. We shall see.

We're not quite done yet today.. One more draw still to come.

It's Daisy's turn to pick her number next, Daisy who is representing the Flower Trio in this match, she earned that right by defeating fellow Flower Trio members Roseluck and Lily in their Triple Threat Match, making a long return she has not been in a Pony Rumble since Pony Rumble 2 but her PR stats are pretty impressive, she has a chance to extend those stats this match, but for now she approaches the Bowl and digs in to pick out a ball, she opens up to see what the number inside is.....................Approving Nod..

Daisy will be the 23rd entry into the Pony Rumble, A decent drawing even though there will be many behind her still, Daisy has proven she is capable of surviving these things so let's see if she can do this one, Will Daisy be the one celebrating Pony Rumble victory this year?. We shall see.

Pony Rumble 6 continues to take shape nicely, 2 Numbers up the high end have been drawn out today, but there are still others available.. Still a variety of numbers to be picked from.. The dreaded entry Number 1 is still lurking in that pot, but so to is lucky Number 30.. They will have to be picked eventually, but we shall see who. We are not quite at the halfway point yet.. But after tomorrows 1st Draw we will be.. See you then.
